Sorry for this post but googling i'm not finding much info i can decipher. i hate things in MM....I have the model A2724 apple watch. It came with two straps. One went nowhere near my wrist size and the second fits but is a bit tight.

anyone know the next size up of a wrist strap for me which will work for this watch? I'm based in UK. Like its so close to being comfortable i'm like one hole away....

Help I know I dropped my phone but over the past couple months it’s gotten worse. Also glitches out. Do I need a new screen, or new phone ?? Yes I’ve re-started it.

I recently bought a storage unit, and it contained two Apple Watches. Both were obviously paired to the original owner, is it worth trying to get it unlocked? Don’t have any contact with the original owner. Are they worthless? Thanks!

I'm planning on getting a new phone but not sure whether I should go for 12 pro or 13. I have found one of each on facebook market place and the difrence between the two is only £30. Is the 13 the better option? Thanks

Hey guys, ever since updating to 17.1.1 my iPhone 14 Pro Max has had an issue where it will be connected to the wifi network, but have no internet connection. After a while it will stay connected to the network, but show no wifi symbol. I have already tried restarting the phone several times, resetting the network settings also a few times as well as deleting all VPN configurations but nothing has worked.

I’m at a complete loss as to what to do?

The kicker is that my iPhone 13 Pro Max still connects perfectly, same with my laptop and my family’s devices all have no issues.

Anyone have any idea as to what I could do?

I am a hobbyist photographer and mostly use Lightroom and some light video editing. I would consider the Air but not sure if I will regret it later so heavily considering a MacBook Pro but anything over 8GB of memory shoots the price by $200 and always blows my budget of $1500.

What should I get?

I’d like to purchase an Apple Watch (first time!) as a gift and didn’t see a material difference between the series 8 and series 9 so I figure it makes sense to look for a new in box series 8 but was surprised that it wasn’t being sold many places and the savings were only about $50. I’d like to stick to a traditional retailer and avoid Amazon, eBay, etc just to reduce the risk of fraud somewhere along the way with a sizable purchase like this but wanted to see if the community here had any advice? If it was for me, I’d get gently used or refurnished but since it’s a gift I’m sticking to new, in box. But I guess if I can’t find any real savings on a new series 8 is it worth the $50 for a series 9? Any advice on where to look for an 8 would be appreciated! Thanks!

Two days ago, briefly noted AppleTV remote developing a mind of its own when it independently maximized the volume and could not be stopped/muted/reduced. This was transient and all was well the rest of Sunday and Monday.

Tonight, the remote is completely nonfunctional. It shows as “disconnected”, but attempts to reconnect are successful for fractions of a second before it goes back to “disconnected”.

Completely locked out of the AppleTV as a result. Any ideas for further troubleshooting? We’ve done the forced reconnection (back/volume up) and restart (home screen/volume down).

Does not seem to be a system-wide issue or there would be more complaints here.

I recently got a new 15 and restored it from a backup of my previous phone. I had emails on my phone from my email address at a previous employer, and I would like to retain those old messages and contacts even though I no longer have access to the email account. Obviously I can't sign in to the account on the new iPhone 15 since I'm no longer employed there, but I'm wondering if there is a way to back up the old messages somewhere and I can manually store those addresses/messages that live on my old phone?

Worst comes to worst, I could go one by one and copy down the email addresses/text of the emails, but I'm hoping there is a way to mass-transfer it all before mailing my old iphone 14 back.

I have two iPhones and 2 AppleTVs. All 4 devices are at the latest release. I cannot get either phone to control either AppleTV. I can see them in the command center but it won’t show what is playing. The remote app just shows searching forever. Any ideas?

Does anyone have any experience with these mod kits? They look pretty dope and a cool way to make the watch a little more covert while wearing everyday - a bit expensive, so that’s why I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger. Any advice is welcome! I’ll also copy/paste a second link below.

I'm not too familiar with Macs as I've come from Windows so not too good with their Chips and stuff.

Current Laptop Use/Usage:

8 hours per day, medium brightness, mostly Google Chrome, Excel, Google Sheets, Shopify, and YouTube. I am working for an e-commerce brand in their Marketing/Website department so im often on the Shopify website and on sheets like Google Drive, Google Docs, etc. I usually have around 25-30 tabs opened at once simultaneously. I am often downloading many pictures, videos, and designs. I only ever use Canva for anything art. I don't do ANY editing (so no Photoshop, no editing tools, no rendering, etc). Just canva. I usually have 2-3 chrome profiles opened with each having 10-15 tabs. I also have to check YouTube many times as a lot of our material is unlisted on YouTube channels. I record videos with my camera and screen using Loom. Very importantly as well, im often importing lots of material, products, and pictures onto the company website in BULK. Often thousands of pictures, descriptions, variants etc, using CSV.

That's pretty much what I use the laptop for only.

If I could get some help from any Apple/MacBook gurus as to what kind of MacBook Pro 16-inch I should get, I'd really appreciate it.

Not sure if I should get the M3 Pro, or M3 Max, what kind of SSD, ram, etc.

I received my launch day iPhone 15 Pro Max on 9/22 and the first thing I did after opening the box was apply a screen protector from Hummix (seller on amazon). The next day I noticed a small area towards the bottom middle with a group of vertical scratches, and after removing the screen protector, the scratches were actually on the iPhone screen. I exchanged it for another after thinking it came from the factory like that. When I got the replacement iPhone, the first thing I did after unboxing it was apply another Hummix screen protector, like the previous one. Fast forward to today and I removed the Hummix screen protector from my replacement iPhone to apply another screen protector and a very similar group of vertical scratches at the bottom was there again! Wondering if I am getting insanely unlucky and somehow these iPhones are coming from the factory with scratches or it has something to do with the screen protector. Anyone have similar experiences?

So I got AW Series 9 45mm a week ago. I noticed that crown scrolls/spins with almost no resistance like very very easily compared to AW Series 3 that my mom owns. For an example: Taking off my shirt it would open this menu from watch face when you scroll down.

Is it supposed to be like this?

Never paid attention to this face with this style. Unity Lights… but not the Afrocentric colors. This pop!!

Apple watch ultra2, latest update with iphone 15 pro max 17.2 public beta. All was fine last few weeks until I had trouble with a new app showing outdated data (Oura smartring widgets). I decided to uninstall reinstall the app on the watch, rebooted phone and watch but now every time I try to reinstall the app on the watch, it keeps endlessly loading and nothing happens. I tried cancelling and retrying multiple times to no avail and multiple reboots

I even tried to install another app instead, no success either.

Any idea?

I have a chance to get it for $200. Should I buy it or wait for the holidays?

Audio is playing at the correct kHz and all channels are working. 44.1 kHz, 96 kHz, and 192 kHz FLACs still play back at the correct sample rates.

I’ve heard some media online that the 14/15 Pro 48mp sensor is better than the 48mp in the regular 15? After experiencing the 14 pro briefly last year, and even comparing it to my friends 15 pro max, I’m not convinced that the regular 15 (which I have) has a worse 48mp sensor.

I notice that my 15 has a way better closer focus distance and I personally like the 26mm focal length better than the 24mm on the pros (which i feel is a bit too wide, but also the 2x is slightly close on the regular 15 which is nice). Also, I feel that the photos im taking on my regular 15 are turning out better quality and more detail with the main lens than my friend with the 15 pro max. Anyone else agree/disagree?
