Was looking streaming devices as my LG CX apps are quite sluggish and laggy. Was deciding between the Firestick Max and the Chromecast. After extensive research, picked up a 4k + Ethernet, and wow is it good. Picture seems sharper than the TV apps, as well as my dad’s fire cube. Experience is so smooth, and with being in the Apple ecosystem its ease of setting up was fantastic. Only thing I was wondering, is why does the audio cut out or not play at all when my Xbox is also turned on? It started playing again when I turned the Xbox off so was wondering if that interferes with it? Either way it’s absolutely fantastic

My iphone 12 has been freezing, restarting multiple times a day, and quite often it will take multiple times doing this to actually start up properly. This is accompanied by lots of pink pixels.

I've googled it and it seems 'pink pixels of death' is a thing. I've tried to factory reset it to no avail.

It often does it when it's plugged in to charge, and when i go on some apps like camera and pictures.

Any more suggestions before i take it to a shop?

I got the Apple Magnetic band and it seems to loosen over time enough that the watch slides loose to my wrist joint. I'm not doing anything special and over time I notice it slipping up and down my arm a few inches back and forth. Sometimes I don't notice it til I have to wash my hands and then it slides down and gets wet which I hate...

I was hoping it would just stay in place exactly where I close it around my wrist.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Is this normal behavior?

I got that dumb new update, turned off screen time and parental controls which originally made me unable to delete apps. Now i turned it off and I still can’t delete, wtf??

i’m coming from galaxy (both phone and watch) and something i loved was arm curl, arm raises, side raises, etc counting 10 reps and then doing a stretch timer. i’ve gotten used to the 30 with stretches between them. is there a way to track this on apple watch? it’s got all these workouts and sports, but no simple at home workouts? or am i not looking in the right spot?

What is the best way to transfer photos, videoss, notes, messages, contacts etc. from Android to iPhone? I tried it before to a friend 3-4yrs ago but it messed up the timestamps so she ended up starting all over. I'm planning to switch soon but I want to keep everything. Is it possible?

I understand wanting USB-C, and its honestly a great move, but with the EU demanding Apple to implement RCS, and sideloading, i cant imagine them ever doing that. one of apples biggest selling points is how secure they are, and the experience using the iPhone with other iPhone users. can apple just outright say no and stop selling devices there? would that raise the cost/lower the availability of devices for other countries?

im super interested in this so i also want to know. if you were in apples position, what would you do?

Now I have to either pay $629 for the device which does not make sense. How can I go about selling the phone where all I have to do is transfer the account holder to someone else where they can get the phone for free but just still have to pay the $80 per month to verizon

I recently decided to opt for going for a macbook as my first laptop since I'm heading off into college. No more of that old slow school issed chromebooks anymore. However I have a budget of around $800. Should I go for a new macbook air with the m1 chip or some older macbooks that are used. I've seen some old macbook pros for around $800 as well. I plan to use this laptop to do edits, school work, code, and just a regular daily use for youtube or just reading. Any help and opinions would be great. Thanks.

For several years I’ve had an accessibility shortcut on my iPhone to reduce white point (triple click power button) and it’s really an eye saver at night time.

Having the same accessibility features on ATV 4K truly is underrated. Watching TV at night is great when I can reduce white point.

Obviously I don’t use it when watching movies but it’s great for binge watching shows.

I’ve been having this blue/purple/orange spit on my MacBook screen lately, and I don’t know how it came there. Does someone know the cause of it, or how to fix is? It’s really annoying but doesn’t effect anything else…

I just used Find My to locate my wife (location is shared) and it said she’s right next to me. But that’s her iPad.

How do I get Find My to use her iPhone? It shows the location of her phone under her devices, but it’s not the default.

I’m going to be upgrading later this year from a regular IPhone 13 to either a 15 Pro or a 15 Plus, but I can’t decide which one I would rather have.

On the 15 plus, I really like the bigger screen and the fantastic battery life, along with the cheaper price. I was initially leaning towards the 15 Pro since it has the lighter titanium build, 120 hz refresh rate, more powerful chip, and just looks and feels better to hold. However, I’ve heard it also problems with battery life and overheating.

It would be great if you guys could weigh in and give your opinions. Both phones seem great to me and it’s a tough choice

I’m iPhone 11 Pro 512GB user for 4 years now and I’m now looking to upgrade for the 15 Pro. I currently use around half of the storage in my 11 Pro. My main use for storage is photography and film (4K), plus temporary data (spotify songs and Netflix media). I also have iCloud storage (using 600GB of 2TB plan). See image.

Therefore, my dilemma is that I don’t know if to stay in the same size (512GB) or upgrade to the 1Tb version. I never shot ProRes but is something I’d like to use.

Should I pay the extra price and go for the 1Tb, giving that I wanna shot ProRes and RAW, or would I be ok staying with 512Gb? Do ProRes and RAW files back up to iCloud Photos or is that not supported?
