I’m going on holiday soon and I want to see the best I can get out of my 15 Pro camera. For photography mainly.

What settings and apps would you guys recommend? I know some people prefer to use apps instead of the stock camera app so I wanted to know what people recommend!

Also just general settings and tips.

For work reasons, I need to get a MacBook to continue working on a new task where I am, I found one for 500 dollars and delivering as payment my equipment a 2017 Dell is left at 300 dollars. The main use I will give it is merely for office and programming.

The specifications are as follows: Intel i7-8559U 16 GB RAM 512 SSD 13.3” and a resolution 2560x1600 Battery has 248 cycles

I'm open to recommendations

i got this phone when i was young and i didnt take it seriously, so every time i go to reset my google password it says "confirm on ___'s iphone" and i want to change that name. ive tried everything, the name of my device is different and in general > about > name its different but its not changing. what do i do?

So I want to use a wifi backing camera for cars on to my electric wheelchair. The only problem when I'm connected to the camera with wifi, there's no internet connection. Any ideas on how to solves this problem? Thanks for helping me.

I am looking to sell my 12 Pro Max as I've upgraded to the 15 PM

However most of the reselling places specify it has to be over 80% capability, but ALSO under 500 cycle charges, and I can't find any way to get this info on iOS 17 if you don't have the 15.

There are a few ways that used to work by checking analytics data, but none of those files have the cycle count in them for me.

The battery is currently at 87% max capacity. So I'm hoping it's less than 500 but how can i be sure as it's an extra £140!

So first post here but returning my 14 PM in space grey which picked up a bit of tiny pitting in between case and edges (- normal wear and tear I guess) for a 15 PM that just arrived. I have a case and tempered glass so I don’t have to clean it. I previously applied the old tempered glass and clear case in the bathroom after a hot shower. No air bubbles or anything. I periodically clean lint or whatnot and the phone has never been abused. Recently I discovered this finish isn’t that durable and I want the 15 PM for its filming direct to sd capabilities.

What regime do you guys follow to ensure a minty fresh iPhone if it’s not been run naked? I’ve got the titanium one since there is no pvd to scratch? I’ll be running a clear case I picked up from Amazon -no need those tough ones.

Any pro tips / hacks I’ve missed?

My uber app stop showing how much time left has to the car gets my home anymore, only the location icon. This function stops working a few days after use, but before that works perfectly. I want the counting back, pls. 😭

Just saw the exact model iPhone I want to buy my mom for Christmas but it’s refurbished. I’m not in the country at the moment so if I get it delivered to her house, will it be immediately obvious what it is when she gets it?

Are the Sheath cases as good as they are made out to be? I'm really tempted to get one, but I have never seen one in person.

There’s a video showing the problem if it helps. Is it difficult for anyone else to get the mic to register a touch? Cancel at the top left seems to have the same issue.

Apple Watch Ultra 2 owner here. One reason I upgraded from the original Ultra to Ultra 2 was the ability to use the double tap feature. Let's just say the experience has been very disappointing so far. My biggest gripe is that double tap to dismiss an alarm when sleeping seems to NEVER work. I think I managed to do it once since I've had the most latest update that enabled this double tap feature. Is there something I need to change in the settings to enable this? Very frustrating.

I setup shared photo library with my wife and initially it worked, but since then not a single photo from her or me have sync’d. Manually adding them has not worked either after waiting a week to sync. This issue is occurring on all our devices, iPhones, iPads and Macs. All devices are up to date and each device was checked to make sure shared library is enabled and automatically sharing. Spoke with Apple, who suggested the usual reboot and reset everything routine which did nothing to resolve it. They escalated my case, have not heard back for two weeks. Anybody have any suggestions. Really like to try and resolve this before the holidays.

So I ordered my iPhone 15 PM on 11/5. It said it would arrive 11/16-11/20, so I thought no worries I’ll just wait until the 15th and then I should get an update. Its now the 16th, and it is still on processing. Should I contact apple about this or just wait it out?

I have had my 15 pro on StandBy for around an hour but it doesn't seem the AOD is being used. Under my impression I thought the screen would be dimmed and the refresh rate would be 1hz. However, the second hand is smoothly moving and the screen is still bright. Wont this cause burn-in if the screen is a higher refresh rate and brighter than the normal AOD?

I could’ve sworn I was awake this whole time between 12-1:30. How does the watch exactly measure this?

long story short, apparently someone who isn’t in my contacts called me when my iphone 14 pluswas in DND mode (I was asleep).

When I woke up, I checked my phone and saw a notification “Missed call from xxxxxx number during DND mode”

I swiped the notification away; yet I can’t find that number anywhere - it isn’t even showing up under “Phone—>Missed Calls”. Why not?

Where can I find the unknown number that called me?
