Just from the thread about showing your home screens, what’s up with the 30000-60000+ hnrwad emails, people? Do you folks subscribe to every email list under the sun and never read those emails or do you just never read your emails?

I’m having a hard time explaining this but my apps do something weird when they open or when I transition between two apps. For context, I was using iPhone X until recently and now am using 15 so there’s been a major update and maybe I’m not used to it.

Basically, my apps open very fast? Is there a way to make it slower/ smoother? I find it very trippy and would like to go back to the older version if that’s a setting.

The SIM tray is discolored on it’s bezels and the bezels look brighter than the middle of the tray. Is it the same for you? I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max

Hello, I noticed that while recording a video, SOMETIMES, the sound when playing it, sounds like air is blown to the microphone. Also, during a call, the other person can’t hear me, unless I enable the speaker. Again, this happens sometimes. I have iOS 17.1.1 installed.

What could the issue be?

I was using my 15PM without a case yesterday and dropped it onto concrete from a couple of feet which cracked the corner on the back. Is it $99 for a replacement or $29 since it’s the back “glass”?

Currently using my iPhone 8 Plus which is on its last legs. Currently on a very good sim only deal.

Finally getting a new phone.

The 15 pro on contract (in the U.K. at least) is like £80 a month. So I looked online and can get an iPhone 13 Pro for £600 (used but excellent condition 256gb)

Should I get the 13 pro? Or do I just get the 15 pro on contract and spend the extra £££. Ideally I don’t want to spend that much a month if I’m not really getting anything extra

With everything becoming so expensive I find that one of the easiest ways to save is canceling streaming services which I find are a nice to have category. I wonder how much of a prevalant thing this is?

Now that the iPhones 15 have been out for almost two months, the first updates to iOS 17 have been released and the dust has somewhat settled: How satisfied are you with your phone?

There were a lot of comments after release on the subpar battery life, is that (still) holding true?

I have had the 13 Pro Max for over a year and although the battery is incredibile, the size and weight are too much for me. I am interested in getting the base 15, the 15 pro costs too much and the 14 pro is not enough of an upgrade from 13pm+ bad battery. What should I choose?

I am an android user myself, currently using a Google Pixel 7. Not perfect, has several issues but still does the job for the price.

My a week ago my gf wanted to buy a new phone. She had problems with different android phones in the past so I advice her to buy an iPhone for its stability and overall great camera performance.

We got my girlfriend an iPhone 15 Pro. Her first iPhone, she loved the experience for a few hours.

A couple of hours after taking brand new phone out of its box, Face ID stops working, it says Face ID is not available.

I google, I read reddit and apple forums, even YouTube and watch videos. Everyone says the same things;

1. Clear the camera (its a brand new phone)
2. Hard reset the phone
3. Delete Face ID and add it again.

She hard reset her phone more than 10 times within 7 days she used the phone. Always works for a few hours after the reset and then stops working again.

Apple is useless as fuck when it comes to this issue, I have seen a hundred different posts on the forums, telling people to do the same thing over and over.

At this point I believe this is a hardware issue not a software, but I could be wrong since it works for a few hours and then stops working each time.

So here I am for your opinions/experience. If any of you have had the same issue and fixed it in a different that we have not tried, could you please let us know?

I keep getting a pop up randomly on my phone (without clicking any links or anything) saying “server identity cannot be identified”. The pop up gave me the option to “see the details”, it looks like it’s linked to something called shafeehaque.com??? I have no idea what this is, I don’t use any sort of sketchy browsers or anything. Has anyone else experienced this? What do I do ?

Yesterday I got a new SIM card and installed it in my IPhone 12 mini. Everything was working fine until today. My phone ran out of power and when I turned it back on after charging, I was asked to enter in my PUK code. (Not sure why. I might have typed in my pin incorrectly although I don’t think I did).

I type in my PUK code, where after I am asked to create a new PIN code and confirm it by typing it in a second time. I do so, but afterwards I am directed back to the screen where it says to type in my PUK code. If I type in my PUK code a second time, it once again goes to the screen where I am asked to create a new PIN code. The process is just continuous to go in circles and I never get any cellular connectivity.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Today I went into my Billing and Subscription settings and cancelled my free 6 months Apple Music subscription (still had 5 months left).

My goal was to prevent the auto renew/billing when those free 6 months would eventually pass, although I didn't expect it would send it all into the void.

I also contacted support and nothing can be done because of their policy about free promotions.

I can’t seem to find this watch face anywhere for my Apple Watch series 9.

Recently I updated to tvOS 17, but I was a bit afraid of it as I was seeing how terrible is the watchOS 10.

I should have been waiting on this update because it fucked up my main control method of the Apple TV which is through the Samsung tv's remote.

Now I cannot navigate via the tv remote. And when I try to manually connect to the Anynet(Samsungs name for HDMI-cec) device, it could not connect. And another strange thing is that in the anynet device list the name was the appletvs given name shown, but on tvOS 17, the name in the anynet device list changed to 'Player'.

Is there any solution to get the hdmi-cec working again?

Already tried another HDMI cables, restarting the devices, reset the appletv, reinstall the tvOS, but nothing was helping.

Hello all. While I love the versatility of the Shortcuts app (on 15PM), I have run into a problem and wonder if anyone else has encountered it. I have taken to using Shortcuts and the Choose from Menu function to create individualized icons that list and open up any of a number of apps, e.g, a dock icon for my IOT apps. But when I list more apps than is visible, calling it up 1) results in not all apps being immediately viewable, e.g, cant see below the eighth app for several seconds and 2) scolling the menu upwards results in laggy/jerky movements.

I know this is very specific and I did send in feedback, but wondering others have experienced the same thing. TYIA!

I did a long pause on the Espn app from the main menu and I accidentally selected hide. Does anyone know how to unhide an app so it will appear back on the menu?

Is there a way I can filter photos to ones that are duplicates and delete them?
