Recently got my new M2 air. On Sunday i used it and closed it without shutting it down, then i forgot about it for 4 days until today (Thursday). I opened it and expected the apple logo, but it went straight to the Lock Screen indicating it’d been on all that time. It was on 43%. I shut it down today, but will this mean my MacBooks battery will be impacted/ does it cause any damage to the device. Really worried as it was expensive and i want to keep it in perfect shape.

My brother forgot his passcode to his iPhone 13 and I’m trying to help him erase it (he knows his Apple ID and password)

When we do the recovery mode method, iTunes asks him to log in. He does, but it sends him a code to his phone. We can’t view what that code is because Face ID is disabled until you enter your passcode once.

We also tried erasing from iCloud.com. Same thing. Sends a code to his phone.

Tried disabling the phone for 1 hour but there was no erase option on the bottom right.

I’m out of ideas. Anyone else have any?

It has occurred less frequently after i updated to 17.1.1 but this never used to be a problem at all in previous software changes.

I don't know about anyone else, but from an iPhone user's standpoint I only really want one new feature to come with the new iMessage update—that being purple bubbles for RCS Android users. Please Apple, you know you want to.

Just bought an Apple TV brand new one. I am also an admin in my homeowner's home kit. So I should be able to add a device correct? Well, I set it up and I can not add it to the home kit it just automatically makes a new home for my Apple ID. But I want to be part of the owner's Apple ID home kit. There is nothing to scan as well and when I add accessories nothing happens. Does the full-on owner have to set this up and then after he logs in can I sign out of his account and log into my admin Apple ID?? This seems way too ridiculous for such a simple thing. I am An ADMIN I should be able to add anything to the home. Please Help Thank you

Cant afford the Apple wallet but was wondering if it would be safe to use an Aliexpress wallet on the phone. Safe in the sense it won't damage the phone's internal components (not safe as in if it will fall off and be hard to track down).

My child has had a standalone watch with cellular. It is paired with my phone since she doesn’t have a phone. She originally had a SE but I changed it to an ultra for longer battery life. We use t mobile.

It has always had connectivity issues for 2 years. I cannot consistently reach her and texts don’t always go through. It’s weird because this is in areas with good cell service for my phone. It sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t.

Do y’all think it’s a carrier issue? Or do your cellular watches work perfectly?

I’ve worn my new series 9 for about a week now and it’s not tracking my temp. I don’t even get a countdown it just says no data. I’ve googled and all the things it told me to turn on they have been on. I’m at a loss.

I have the iphone 13, and i noticed recently whenever i hit around 10% or 9%, my phone shuts off, and i hold power button to turn it back on, and it loses battery rapidly. It goes from 9 to 5 to 2 ect. Is there a reason for this? How can i fix it??

Does Apple developers check this reddit? It feels like it, once I made a comment on how the low battery warning obstructed the view and it would be better if its shown like the airpods case.

iPhone 14 PM running 17.1.1 currently. Forgot my password and locked myself out for an absurd amount of time. Restored my iPhone using a MacBook and now all my recent photos are gone from the last six or so months. Can I recover these photos and videos?

However it’s made the phone much heavier especially with me adding the pop socket wallet.

I have been using my iPhone for a year now and this issue remains since the day one. The settings regarding this feature are all off yet i keep getting this notification. I found that a few other people have the same issue. Some people do some people dont. I reached out to ig through report an issue feature but nothing is fixed.
