I’ve already dealt with AT&T and Apple.

AT&T tell me they can’t unlock without proof of purchase. They don’t have my proof of purchase because I most likely bought it directly from Apple.

Apple tells me their records don’t go back that far.

Did I at one time have emails confirming my purchase? I’m sure I did. But I guarantee I don’t still have them in any of my many email accounts.

Anyone have any ideas? I was merely trying to help my elderly neighbors whose cell phone broke and their home phone is unreliable. I spent 4 hours tonight at AT&T, on the phone with them and apple.

Any suggestions?

I am looking for a apple watch and i am wondering what is the best one under 300 dollars.

Every time I’m at home, half the time I’d lose connection and I’d have to manually reconnect. Has Apple spoken about this? I have the iPhone 14.

I’ve just come to iPhone from Samsung and love it except for the fact my food photos suck and I can’t take a good one. With Samsung it was very easy as it has special scenes that detect when you’re taking a photo of food and adapt the colours accordingly to make it look great, but my iPhone pics all look terrible. Is there any easy way to take good food pics with iPhone?

I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. Sometimes the screen will come back if it’s at the exact angle it needs to be at, but mostly it’s purple vertical lines. I called apple support, and she walked me through some things. Told me to tilt my screen back after she thought she fixed it, and now it’s just staying purple.

I have an appt tomorrow, but has anyone seen this and can anyone give me a ballpark range here?

Hi! Does anyone know of any magsafe wallet to stick on back of iphone that does NOT have RFID shielding? in other words, I want to be able to scan my entry card at work without having to take it out individually every.single.time.

Had an issue with my watch not playing music through my AirPods Pro and not updating settings.

I then did a full erase/re-pair of my watch. Fixed the music issue but then wouldn’t pair with fitness apps. When I was going through the health app to get it synced, I saw a lot of duplicate data sources which I removed. Now my complications and Health app are showing lower numbers on my rings than what’s been recorded. Any way to get my Health data back to where it was?

My MacBook Pro 13 inch M2 chip just stopped working. It was fine and I was streaming a show before I put the laptop to sleep. After a few hours, I tried to use my laptop but it wouldn’t even switch on yet the fans were on. The noise of the fans didn’t even die down and would still make noise even if the the laptop is closed. Tried a few general solutions online such as SMC and PRAM reset, held the Touch ID button and so on. The noise does stop for a few seconds when holding the Touch ID button but then continues again. After these, the Mac no longer makes noise when the screen is down and but the moment I put the screen up the noise is back and the fan is on.

I tried charging it and the charging sound indicates that the laptop is charging. However, the laptop makes noise even if the screen is down whilst charging.

I also recently updated to macOS 14 Sonoma which could be the cause.

Please advise me on possible solutions. I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m considering buying a first gen Apple TV to set up in my truck for long road trips. I’m hoping someone can answer some questions for me. Thanks in advance.

1. Does it need internet to play if the movies are already downloaded?
2. Can it output in 480i?
3. Will it still connect to iTunes to download movies?

With a recent update, my watch now has a notification when it detects I’m connected to CarPlay (presumably)

The notification either guesses where I’m going (poorly)

Or tells me how to get home (and most of my trips are within a few miles of home… and I don’t need directions)

How can I stop this annoying notification?

I did something incredibly stupid today. I accidentally dropped my iPhone while I was in a van, thinking it was safely in my pocket when it was actually on my lap. Now, for the first time ever, it’s scratched, and I’m seriously annoyed, especially since I didn’t have a screen protector on it.

I’ve got 11 days left to buy Apple Care, and I’m wondering about its coverage if my phone ends up broken. Can I claim something now, even with these small scratches, or is it only for major damages? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Im trying to connect my mba to 2 external monitors via hdmi (clam mode for mba) and came across display link adapters. While it looks like it does get the job done, whats the downside of it if there is any. Mba being fanless I feel like there will be some sort consequences for running in not “intended setting”

Also taking display link adapter recommendations. Thinking of hyperdrive for now. Main reason being cheaper than others Ive seen.

I exclusively use Google maps for everything and don’t even have Apple Maps downloaded on my phone. Whenever someone’s texts you an address in iMessage, the link it curates is only able to open into Apple Maps, atleast that I’ve seen. And Ik you can just copy it, and Google maps will recognize the copied address super quickly but I still have to open the app separately to access it. Is there a way to hard set Google maps as the application it opens automatically?

Hello, I'm looking for a travel keyboard with good tactile feedback to go along with my MacBook.
My Macbook's keyboard has become too mushy over time and I don't like using it at all.

I'm only looking at wireless options. These are my top contenders so far.

3. Apple's magic keyboard (without numeric pad)

Anyone seen this one before? I had GPS on in the car via CarPlay. My band is an authentic Apple Sport Loop (old) and my watch is updated (6 cellular). I haven’t tested it on another drive to determine whether the alert returns.

I dropped my iPhone 12 in the grass sunday and then it just didn't turn on so I went home to charge it but it won't go past the Apple logo. I've tried clicking the buttons on the side like all of the websites told me to do but it won't even go to the other screen where it tells me to plug it into Mac and even when I do plug into Mac (without it telling me to) it still doesn't work. Is there any other way to fix my Phone?

The problem is the stolen iPhone doesn't have a backup turned on, I thought fitness should be saved to iCloud like how iHealth does.

Ive read a lot about this and people say to use bleach or dish soap and soak it overnight or wash it in a pants pocket but Im here to tell you what really truly works. Efferdent Guard Cleaner. Thats right Efferdent. Not only does it clean the band but it kills 99.9 % of the bacteria and its skin safe. Do this once a week and you will be happy! Just fill a glass with tap water and detach your watch band from the Apple watch and put it in the water so both sides are below the surface and dump in a single packet. 15 minutes later you get back your watch bands will be clean and fresh smelling!
