Is it possible for conversations I have with one contact to not transfer over to my other device (mac). This is somehow happening with my partner and the conversation she has with her boss who has an android?

I have a Apple Watch Series 5 GPS only thats been at 80% for months but the battery life is horrible. Getting worse. Once it drops below 80, I plan to take it to Apple for a battery replacement. Do they replace the battery or give me a refurbished unit?

here is my experience with my new iphone 15 pro compared to my iphone 11 pro used for 4 years I mainly use my iPhone to take photos of my gemstones to be able to post them on different social networks (I am a gemstone cutter) my iPhone 11 pro gave it complete satisfaction regarding the quality of the images and the durability of the battery (a day and a half to 2 days with use of 4-5 hours per day) After 4 years of use, Ithought it was time to improve the quality of my photos by moving from a 12MP sensor to a 48MP, I then bought an iPhone 15 pro, a fatal mistake for me and a big disappointment first of all, the battery is much less efficient than the one of the iPhone 11 pro, after charging to 100% in the morning and the same use as on my old iPhone (4-5 hours per day) the battery is at best evening at 30% but more frequently in low power mode 20%, what is happening at Apple? but my biggest disappointment is the camera. with my iphone 11 pro I obtained very good photos of my stones (1 to 2 cm diameter) with the x2 zoom and the minimum focus of 8 centimeters. Now the minimum focus is 20 centimeters which makes it impossible to take a good precise photo because the stone is much too far from the lens, even with the x2 and x3 zoom and do not count on the macro function which is a real shit and uses the 12MP sensor instead of 48 Mp. with macro the photo is blurry and it's a real pain to use. It's really a step backwards with this iPhone, a real disaster, even a scam. I had to buy a good macro lens ($150) to be able to use the 48mp sensor and now obtain very beautiful photos of my stones. on my profile you can see my photos with the 11pro and I have not yet posted the one with the 15 pro and a macro lens (I just received it) I will do it soon

iPhone been like this for about 30 mins.. anyone have any idea what’s going on? Every time i try to turn on the power it goes to this. Anyone experience something similar? Thanks

I was on the train and some device identified as an Apple TV and tried to connect to my iPhone. I got a prompt to share all saved password and I rejected. I turned off Bluetooth, but my phone just kept restarting, and was super unresponsive. Would open an app just for the initial screen to pop up and freeze. Once I hopped off the train, it acted normal again. Just wondering if anyone had a similar situation and whether I should do something? Cheers

Has anyone else noticed their iPhone SE 2nd generation become really unstable as of the last couple weeks or so? I’m running iOS 17.0.3 and I’m seeing a number of apps lock up hard or crash alltogether. My battery health is 100% (replaced with genuine a couple months back).

Edit: I just updated to 17.1.1. We’ll see if it improves anything.

I’ve been digging for 30 minutes and just can’t find any answer or any fix. I’m trying to watch The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent through the Apple TV app on Xbox one s. I’m watching it on a 1080p tv that does not and has never had HDR. But the colors are super washed out and pale like I’ve seen trying to put my PC into HDR mode. All I can find is tons of posts saying to change a setting that seems to only be on an Apple TV device. Nothing I can change on Xbox is affecting it. But sometimes when it lags a little and drops in resolution it shows the colors properly, but then goes back to looking bad. It’s the first and only thing I’ve watched on here that has looked this way. I did buy the movie in 4K but that hasn’t been an issue with anything else where I did the same.

I’ve noticed that my cellular doesn’t get signal around places my phone usually does. Is the cellular not as strong on the watch?

Does anyone know if there is a setting so that instead of pressing the number buttons individually on the lockscreen, you can run your finger in a line through the code without the lifting it from the screen?

Apple TV 4K 11 mths old. It’s been awesome, but a few days ago I spilt on my remote. Spilt may be excessive as it was a couple drops from a straw pulled out of a cup. Landed right on the mute button and now all it does is mute and volume down constantly. I’m honestly surprised how sensitive this thing is considering how solid it feels in hand. From what I’ve researched it’s likely toast and Apple wont do anything so don’t waste my time taking it in (no Apple Care). Should I take it apart and try and clean with alcohol?

I want a wallpaper as such. with just the song cover and the blurred background and nothing else. Is there any way to achieve this?

Some observations:
I unknowingly avoided 3D Touch in its entirety. So there might be others like me who has been continuously on newest OS supported iPhones and never experienced 3D Touch on an iPhone.

It is wild that my iPhone 4 could have had the same capacity as my XR had I chosen the 64Gb version. These phones are 8 years apart.

Choosing a black XR exaggerated the thick bezels even more making it feel really thick. I should have gotten a white.

The XR resolution complaint was way overblown imo, switching to a 13 didn’t provide a massive improvement to image clarity as others in the internet would have me believe.

On the other hand, 120 hz is immediately noticeable on the 15PM, though it’s not difficult to use the 13 again as others have stated about going back to 60 hz.

A glass or water was spilled on my iPhone while charging and the phone and cord are very wet. Not sure if the charger seals the port enough to prevent water from getting in but a lot was spilled in that area. It looks like it still works fine but I just unplugged it and am letting it all dry before using again. Is any damage to the phone likely? Any risk of injury like shocks? (unlikely I’m sure, but thought it was worth asking as it came up in a search)

I found an iPhone on the bus and I’m trying to return it to its owner , is there any way to find information for that wether through my own phone or a workaround on theirs

I currently have the black spigen charging stand for my Apple Watch, but I notice that my watch doesn’t sit completely flush with the charger with the sport loop on due to the plastic strap piece that is on the one side.

Are there any stands that work well with the sport loop band? With the spigen stand it’s a pain to make sure the watch is perfectly lined up, and I often run into issues where the watch doesn’t charge.

RCS is coming to iPhone, but Apple confirm it will have green bubbles. Blue ones are exclusive for iMessage. I think it’s time for Google to play the same game and confuse all the iKarens out there who shame or complain about green bubbles (Android users).
