I’m looking to buy my first Mac for working on the go. And I found a used 14in M1 Max for $1100 on FB marketplace with 32gb ram and 1tb storage.

Seems like a great deal except for the fact that the battery health is at 89%. So I’d probably have to replace the battery for $250.

Is it worth the altogether price of $1350?

Or would it be better to just go with a lower level second hand M2 pro around that price?

My workload I do accounting and bookkeeping so most of my work is done in chrome, excel, and on meetings. I’d like to dock the laptop to two 1440p screens when I’m not traveling.

Has anyone tried using usb-c headphone DAC (like ibasso DC03) with iPhone 15? Recently i’ve switched to iPhone 15 PM and I’m having issues with my usb-c to aux adapter, it’s not working. I want to purchase a DAC for my IEMs, but now i worry if it’s even compatible. Can’t find any info on the web, unfortunately

Hi. Old iPhone SE I need to set up for my son. Completely reformatted. No other iPhones on the Apple account anymore. Is there a shortcut to directly set this up for a kid? Objective: Disable specific apps, don't allow installs and set bedtime limits. Apple assumes I have a "Parent" phone. And when they don't, the instructions don't match anything on the screen. In fact, screen time is only accessible after answering several prompts and then it gives errors when I enter account info (seems to allude to another account (child?) but not prompting for it). OS version is 15.8 (probably the last supported OS for this phone)

I got my 15 Pro a month ago, the cable it came with worked up until today morning I went in to re garage my battery plug the phone in and nothing checked it on my AirPods nothing either..

Anyone else find themselves having to do a force restart of their new iPhone 15’s? I had to do it within the first few days after getting my new phone after the home button and no apps would open. And I’ve had to do it twice this week alone. It’s frustrating and every time I do it I’m afraid I’m going to lose everything 😅

I’m planning on getting the 15 pro max on instalments. My carrier is AT&T, however, because I travel back home a lot, I was wondering if the phone would be locked to AT&T and if I can use an international eSim with that phone while I’m travelling?

I asked apple support and they said two different things, or maybe I just didn’t understand them:

When you purchase an iPhone at Apple, you’ll receive an unlocked model that you can use with any carrier. The only exception is if you purchase an iPhone through AT&T Installment Plans — you will receive a locked model.

Your device will be locked if you financed it with Carrier Financing (paying for your new iPhone with your Carrier plan) with AT&T Installment Plans.

When I tried the name drop feature with my other iPhone that I own it says connected what does it mean or what does it do ?
