Hi there,

Just a few moments ago, I attached my MacBook to a power outlet. When touching the back of the screen it felt like it was pulsating. I detached it from the power and the pulsating went away. Back in, it was back. Using a different power outlet, it was also gone.

Any idea what this might be related to? Thanks y'all!

I woke up today and walked past my sleeping android tablet before noticing my dead I phone. So I walked past my tablet again to plug in the phone. So I'm sitting in bed waiting for the battery to charge enough to turn on, okay? Then as soon as I turn the iPhone on I see my tablet across the room light up and receive all the notifications of the night before. I have never paired my phone and tablet, etc. They're supposed to be separate from each other. Why did my tablet turn on at the exact moment my iPhone was turned on? Do my android tablet and iPhoneSe interact somehow? Walking past the tablet didn't wake it up but turning on my iPhone did somehow. I just hate how insecure that feels as far as privacy etc. Like did my neighbors tablet turn on also?! Loll appreciate any thoughts you're willing to share here, i realize it's kind of a silly post. Thanks for reading.

So my macbook ran out of battery and when I turned it back on, this showed up. I panicked as I just bought it two months ago, but then I logged in and it disappeared. What could it be? Should I do something about it and if yes then what exactly? This is my first macbook and I don’t really know anything about them yet.

So, the Qualcomm X70 modem in the iPhone 15 models technically supports Dual SIM Dual Active (DSDA), including with 5G, but iPhones are traditionally Dual SIM Dual Standby.

Anyone know more about this? And will Apple support it?

P.S. Even if nobody knows the answer, I’m also curious what you’d guess will happen (support or no support).

iPhone was sitting in a little puddle of water and I’m seeing a line of water in the screen. My screen also has vertical orange lines all the way through and I can barely see what I’m doing on my phone, but it still works fine. When I lock and unlock my phone the lines go away but slowly appear back after about 10 seconds. Need advice!!!

I usually track my sleep data with my watch but I fell asleep with it off. Yet it informed me of sleep data anyways. How did this happen? Was this just a rough calculation based on previous nights where I wore it?

First it was change the password from the account you created 15 years ago when you last had an iPhone. Now its go onto ITunes and add a payment method. now iTunes wants me to answer the security I created 15 years ago. This process is the stupidest one I've ever experienced out of all the streaming services. Why the hell can't I just add an apple card or my CC In the app.

Edit: after the reseting of my long forgotten answers to the security questions I had to set up 2 point security and then after that it tells me I need to go to the apple store to add a payment method.

I think it's a really great concept and it feels way nicer to use than the buttons when going through the menus, but I absolutely hate it when I'm trying to rewind a show 30 seconds. It's basically impossible to click the center button to play after clicking back twice to rewind slightly.

Does anyone else have this issue? I'm considering disabling the touch functionality because of this.

I’m thinking about picking up a watch and Apple care. I’m wondering does it actually cover everything? When I say everything I mean, smashed, heat damage from sauna, water damage etc?

I noticed in the Apple care page it says "it covers "unlimited incidents from damage from mishandling" but there is absolutely no mention of any other kind of damage.

Hi, does anyone have any idea why my Lock Screen occasionally goes weird and looks like the attached photo?

For reference, it’s normally a photo of my child in a well lit area.

This has been very frustrating as the only solution I've found is to swap the folder with another app first before adding anything to it. Can't find a solution that is simple and straightforward

I have 3 pieces of dirt behind my bottom left camera lens which doesn’t sit right with me since the phone is barley 2 months old. so i contacted apple support and and they said i can send it in for a free repair. So I’m just curious if anyone else has had experience with this? I’m going to buy those camera lens covers from Amazon as soon as it gets back. To avoid future headache.

Quick question here. I have been looking at apple watches on ebay and found one recently that says gsm only apple watch. Its a series 8 watch and I dont understand why it would be gsm only watch and not work with LTE. It says this watch will work with gsm carriers only. Is there something I am not getting.

I really only use my laptop for studying, school work, watching videos of lectures which causes the laptop to heat up pretty hot.

The heating up would be my biggest concern.

I am also on my laptop 10 hours a day for studying.

Would a MacBook Air be okay with these concerns or should I get the Pro ?

I'm a new iPhone user and texted my sister at her personal cell number. Now, her personal number is the only number I've ever had for her, and it's been the same number for 18 years. But she replied, "Hey, why are you messaging my work number??" Confused, I asked, "Oh my bad. The only number I have for you is XXX-XXX-XXXX. What's your personal number?" She said, "No, that's my personal number. YYY-YYY-YYYY is my work line, and that's what you texted." But my sister has never given me her work number, and we've verified that the only number I had was in fact her personal number.

Could anyone explain how on earth my text to her reached her work number that I've never had? I'm assuming these two numbers must be linked somewhere, but would that be on her end? My sister's an Android user, and when I was an Android user, this never happened, so maybe this is an iPhone thing? Either way, we'd like to prevent this happening again, so I'd love input.

Some Apps' data and passwords don't get transferred when you change iPhones.

Google Authenticator and Signal are among two that I found needed QR codes to transfer directly between the phones.

What are some Apps you needed to manually transfer?

Has anyone made a list or found a Wiki that would be helpful to people changing phones?

As per title, my apple watch series 9 is running on watch OS 10.0 and I get a brief but noticeable flicker on the screen around 30% of the time I rotate my wrist to look at my watch.

I have had my watch replaced once already by apple for the battery draining issue with watch OS 10.1 and my original unit also had this flickering issue. The issue was present from the time I got the original unit through each update of watch OS (10.0 > 10.0.1 > 10.1).

Now that the replacement unit is also experiencing the same issue, this leads me to think that it's a software glitch.

The watch screen is otherwise fine and doesn't give me any other problems.

Does anyone else have the same screen flickering problem?
