Hi all, I use my plex server to stream media from my PC in my office (connected via Ethernet) to my LG tv (C2) which is on wifi in the living room. It plays most things without issue but once I get into BD Remux stuff (average 60mbps+) it buffers. Now my question is if I hooked up an ATV 4k to my tv would that wifi card be faster than my TVs card? Otherwise I need to wire an Ethernet cable from living room to office which is going to be a nightmare.

my phone suddenly started having these white lines appear on my screen and i have no idea why. Until a few minutes ago it was completely fine! Screen was the proper resolution and everything worked as it should do but now it doesn’t.

on the lock creen there aren’t any lines to be seen, even after i leave it for a bit, but as soon as i go into my home screen these lines just start appearing.

I dropped my phone in water a few days ago which might be the cause but if so why didn’t this happen sooner? Someone please help me!

There’s a weird bug where I declined a company wide invitation but then somehow the Calendar app turned around and sent THE ENTIRE COMPANY an invite on my behalf for the same event… I then of course had to send a cancellation. The whole ordeal was embarrassing

You know how with intel chips i5, i7 etc every generation performs better so e.g a i5 model bought in 2021 would be more powerful than a i5 bought in 2018. Does this apply to the M1 or is it ‘frozen’ in 2020 if it’s the latter is the difference very significant between other processors? Does it matter what year the MBA 1 was bought between 2020- present?

How much life do you think I can get from this device now I have fully updated it?

My phone (iOS 16.6.1) got stolen mid-September, I marked it as lost immediately. Next day I received phishing SMSs to login so I could track latest location of my phone which i didn't fall for. My phone remained off, location was in the same spot until maybe 2 weeks ago when I checked Find My app and noticed it showed "No Location Found". I figured that it showed that status because the phone had been off for close to 2 months. On Friday morning (17th) I received 3 more phishing SMSs but somehow status on Find My app had not changed from "No Location Found" which I ignored, did not click on the links at all. On Saturday morning I received an email stating that Find My had been disabled on my phone. Now the phone is missing on my device list so now I know it's been erased/wiped out. I'd like to understand how my icloud account got hacked into/compromised without me sharing any details and any best practices because I thought I had bricked my phone. I plan to blacklist the device on my local carriers this week, hope this is possible?

I’ve had a Xiaomi redmi note 8t for 3 years now and it’s starting to slow down a little, battery is quite bad. I also want a small phone, I’ve held the 12 mini in hand on several occasions, great size. My screen time is usually 2 hours of standard instagram stuff, absolutely no gaming. Currently my phone lasts me 2 days. I’m wondering, should I get a 12 mini from Back Market for roughly around £270? Again, screen time is 2 hours and I’d turn 5G off, will I be fine?

Any way to turn this off whilst driving? I have a lightening-aux connected and it’s a persistent notification that requires you to swipe up to remove, even with navigation (Waze) open

I don't need a timed reminder, I just need a todo-list. I can make those within the reminder app, but it always starts up with the the timed items, of which I have none. Is there a way to go directly to my custom list from the Reminders widget in a complication or the smart stack?. Or is there another way to do a simple todo-list?
