So I’ve had the iPhone 15PM since it came out and as of yesterday I started having this issue while as I hold it or move V it slightly it’ll keep switching between charging and not charging. At first I thought it was a fluke but if keeps happening and is getting on my nerves. I’m curious to know if anyone else is having this problem and might have a fix. Only thing I can think of is the charging cable but it appears to be in great condition. I don’t have another cable at the moment to test this theory.

I had a separate issue requiring a replacement logic board in my late 2017 model MacBook Air, after replacing that the machine will work off mains power but is not charging & will not work without it. Photo shows the system report saying the battery is installed but not charging, also the system showing 51% battery which to me points to an issue with it reading the battery. Any ideas how to resolve this?

When purchasing Apple gift cards at retailers (Best Buy specifically here), I see extras promos like in the pic. If I have an Apple One subscription already, where they are all bundled, how do these apply? Do they discount the Apple One subscription during the months, or does it apply at all? I haven’t been able to find any details, so hoping you all can point me in the right direction.

I just got my s9 watch today but I really don’t understand this. Do I need to add my watch to my phone plan?

Sony Pictures Core was release a few weeks ago for both PS4 and PS5, do you think it will ever be released an Apple TV app or will this streaming service be exclusive to Sony’s PlayStation platforms?

I feel everytime I decide to get a model, I might miss out on something crucial unless I get the maxed out MacBook Pro. "Why not spend $100 bucks more to get the M3 Pro instead, and then something inside me says 'in for a penny, in for a pound', why not get the M3 Max. What is this? Why am I not satisfied with what I am getting?

This is what most of my routine looks like:
Lots of Safari usage. Work email and Facetime. Keynote. Reading News. Online Banking and Shopping. Social Media(Instagram only). Streaming Spotify music. Photo Editing for Instagram using Creative Cloud.

Was thinking of M3 Pro with 36 GB of RAM hoping to future proof. Am I overestimating or have I fallen into the abyss of materialism?

WTF Apple? The Memojis are no longer available like they used to. Now I need to tap on stickers and then scroll to the Memojis section. That's such an inconvenience, I could puke. Is there a workaround to make them accessible without hassle?

A friend of mine thinks her partner may be monitoring her iPhone. He knows details of conversations she has had with other people etc. Is this possible and how would she check?

Over the past three hours I have had hundreds of non-stop automated phone calls and text messages from websites I’ve never visited giving me login validation code numbers. Again, these are for sites I’ve never visited. In some cases (such as Jersey Mike’s) the calls start with the supposed name of the user they’re calling.

I can’t figure out if this is a service provider bug or a scam. If it’s a scam, I don’t see the angle. No one is getting the code number but me and I’m not entering it. I don’t even know the user credentials they’re calling/texting about. I thought perhaps it was harassment or more feasibly an effort to distract me from some sort of real fraud by drowning me in nonsense but I don’t see anything like that happening at the moment.

And I can’t figure out how to make it stop. Because of the repeated calls the numbers are breaking through Do Not Disturb and I am continually blocking new numbers.

Anyone else seeing this today?

Will Apple ever fix the weather app? Basic math skills still elude it, making it untrustworthy. For significant storms, these errors can be dangerous. We have "Carrot" as an alternative, but it would be easier if the standard app worked.

We both have iPhones, I have a 12 mini, she has a regular 13. Both updated.

Ever since she switched from android to iPhone a year ago we couldn’t make iMessage work. We still have green bubbles and can’t use any iMessage features like mini games.

We tried deleting each other’s contact info, add it back manually and via the new proximity share feature. We both disabled and enabled iMessage in our phones’ settings. Nothing worked so far.

Every other iPhone we have in our contacts has iMessage working perfectly, both for me and her. Please help! 🙏

So i have this macbook i got from school in summer of 2022 and it has like this bright white thing in the bottom right of the screen like water is inside, my parents will kill me if it is what i think

Used the band that came with it for awhile but got annoyed that it was scratching my laptop. Switched to a nylon band with an off center hook and loop buckle that has so far protected my laptop, but it looks like it’s giving me a bit of a rash after less than a week of use. I do wear my watch all the time, only taking it off to charge while I’m in the shower.

For some reason, the activity rings displayed on my watch face have become white. The rest of my watch face is the color that I set it to, but the activity rings remain white.

They are only white on the actual watch face, when I open the app they are in their normal colors. Anyone know why they suddenly refuse to be in the color that I selected for the watch face...?

Was going to get the midnight MBA M2 with 24gb ram and a 1TB but I see the space black MBP M3 pro base with 18gb and 512gb is very close in price..

What is better for my use?? I am university student studying engineering and like the portability of MacBooks. The MBA is obviously a bit more portable but I think the MBP is still portable enough considering the overall form when compared to my large windows gaming laptop that I’ve been dealing with so far.. would like to run Windows VM (parallels) and do some basic 3D modelling in the VM as well as code on both sides. Some gaming would be a bonus but not necessary.

Just don’t know if dropping the 6gb ram for more CPU/GPU cores + fan is a good idea? Looked at Geekbenchmark stats and it seems like the M3 pro base will give a good increase in performance. But how will the RAM affect my use?? The next level RAM (36gb) is over $400 so that’s a big jump if I do that too.. The next level CPU/GPU combo is about $200 though and that is tempting but not sure it’s necessary.

Opinions/suggestions from Mac savvy people?? This will be my first MacOS so I’m really trying to invest in something I wont regret when it wont run something a year or two from now. The MBA does seem pretty functional though.

After a frustrating week I finally got my watch working as normal. Suddenly after 10.0 update the battery went to only lasting around 6-7 hours.

Looked up answers online and nothing worked since it also wouldn't update. Unpaired, paired, reset - did this cycle about 3-4 times and was still not working. Everytime I paired again I had the battery issue and was telling me to update - but the update was stuck on preparing.

Eventually, I reset the watch and set up as new - was given a prompt to update and this finally worked. Seems obvious really, but was very annoying.

Funny thing is - since the new update I'm getting almost 3 days on a single charge.

Is it possible to use a replacement charger for MacBook Air that only does 45W while the charger I normally use has 65W and also weirdly my normal 65W charger always doesn’t work then after hitting or doing the cable positioning it just weirdly works then it restarts the next time I we]ant to use it.does anyone have any advice.

My partner is having an issue with a few apps on his iPhone 14 where they do not allow him to login and just produce an error, as if the network had gone down during loading (This issue happens regardless of what network he's on so we don't believe this to be the issue).

He doesn't have any content blockers installed or anything like that so that can't be the issue.

We thought it could be to do with the fact we have FamilySharing but there don't seem to be any settings for app login.

We know the usernames and passwords are correct as he can login in any browser without issue. We also know the apps themselves aren't the issue as I can login with his details on my iPhone without problems.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I bought the U8K. When I connect my AppleTV 4K 128 gb does my AppleTV control what kind of picture I get or do I need to calibrate tv with AppleTv? Ideal answer would include what my settings on AppleTV & TV - Thank you for your input

i build mini dollhouses, while simultaneously watching youtube on my macbook nearby. last night i seem to have gotten a drop of super glue on one of my number keys which seems pretty stuck. i can’t seem to scrape it off and i’m hesitant on using acetone or any corrosive liquid. can anyone help me decide what i should do to fix it? please keep in mind that i’m a broke college student and i depend on my macbook very much, but i also do not have much money to splurge on unnecessary repairs.
