dumb question.

i’ve had a few instances where i get a text message from a number with similar digits to mine (eg, mine is 123-456-7890, the spam number texting me is 123-456-9999) text me and around 20 other numbers with similar digits with simple words like “dude” or “wtf”.

i am now getting face time requests from the spammer, who also includes the ~20 other numbers with similar digits to mine.

how do you recommend blocking this?

Throughout the years I’ve set quite the variety of alarms but have never deleted them. Sometimes I’ll reuse the ones that have already been set. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Does anyone else do this?

Just ordered a series 9 to replace my series 5 watch, and wondering if my current bands will work with the new watch, since the 9 is 45mm as opposed to the 5’s 44mm?

Hi All! Apologies in advance for the vague question - But looking into getting a Sonos bundle during Black Friday. Specifically looking into one of their Immersive Sets w/ Beam, Sub Mini, and Era 100's. My current setup is the 3rd gen 4k Apple TV with a couple of Homepod minis. Wondering what people's general thoughts are if you have any Sonos products with your Apple TV setup. Or if anyone has any other audio setups they enjoy would love to hear suggestions as well. It’s okay. It’s bigger, heavier, weighted more at the top, buttons are hard to get used to and less intuitive due to their location, scrolling is smoother but doesn’t bother me, action button is worse imo, and Dynamic Island is fine. Cameras are still crap for moving objects in low light.

Overall I preferred the 11 pro. Given how expensive these phones are now too.

I’m considering buying a new charger and wanted to get a the fastest charger.

This is annoying. Please change it back.

I am a first time apple/Iphone user. Want to buy my first apple watch while there is sales for black Friday. My budget is $300- $350. I want one that has cellular + gps.

Long story short, I recently got my number blocked on iMessage by a friend. I sent them a text and the text came out as blue, but the "delivered" receipt never popped up underneath the message -- typical sign of being blocked. Over the span of the next few days, I checked our chat and there still wasn't a delivered receipt, but this morning, there suddenly was one under the message I had sent a few days ago. I tried to send another message, but it didn't go through. Was I unblocked and blocked again, or was this a glitch on iMessage? If I was unblocked and blocked again, did the message go through to them the minute they unblocked me?

Hope this is welcome here, I’m very excited to have been gifted this Series 9, 41mm Watch from my SO as an early Christmas/anniversary present.

I was given this beautiful piece in part for its heath tracking features, as I and my team of docs are monitoring chronic illness that we’ve struggling to stay on top of. The notepad and task reminders are also helpful me to keep track of daily schedules and appointments, as brain fog and forgetfulness are a part of my daily life.

The feature that I wasn’t expecting is the ability to purge liquids that may have seeped into the device. This model isn’t the dive capable version, though it says it’s water resistant.

I’m just touching on a few of the more obvious features that immediately are helpful to me. I’m just starting to explore the many wonderful apps and applications of the latest in the Watch series!

Siri can no longer hear me, and voice to text doesn't work. I have a series 5 wifi.

Anyone experience this before? OR have any suggestions? Or is it hardware related and I am SOL

Can anybody please tell me how I stop my sleep focus alarm going off on my phone? So it only vibrates on my watch?

This only happens sometimes but I don’t understand why. Sleep focus is turned on on my watch with the sleep focus alarm set, I turn off the sleep focus on my phone and turn off the mirror my phone option.

Now today the sleep focus alarm sounded on my phone. Why is this?

I hate it as it is way too loud and only want my watch to vibrate.

Greetings! Question for the Apple Watch users in the gym/tracking fitness.

1. When doing resistance training, for each different workout - like a chest press versus a shoulder press, do you do it as one Apple Watch workout, or two different ones? I’m new so I’m not sure which is better, I do it was one workout, under resistance training

2. My second question is if you do is as one workout, would it be accurate to break them up by “segments” I.e. chest press is one segment and shoulder press is another segment under one workout.

Also open to correction or different approaches since I’m a real noob to this, thanks in advance

It's my dads apple tv account but I'm at his trying to figure this out. I try to login online, I use his ID and I can't remember his password, he doesn't remember it either. I try a couple passes I know he uses, account gets locked.

I follow the unlock steps and have the email sent to him, he resets the password, I try the new login still says locked. Did the same thing again tried a different password, same thing no dice. Its an endless loop. Couldn't find a solution even searching for "endless loop" online.

How do we get it unlocked?

Hi everyone! I’ve been wearing an Apple Watch for a long time. But for as long as I recall having a watch I’ve wore it a bit too tight, but never really thought twice. It’s left a pretty big indent in my arm. And I’m wondering if it’ll ever recover? I believe it’s starting to actually cause wrist pain and grip issues but I am doing exams right now so I’ll have to wait to see if that’s what’s causing it and not my watch. I really just want to know if the indent will leave after a while and if not how to help it be less noticable (and if my grip has been affected, a way to help that too).

Is anyone else‘s iPhone also having trouble using Face ID? I have the iPhone 12 and just now it detected an issue. Is this a bug or a sudden serious malfunction?

Also, I am suspicious because on the Apple website they published the Face ID article TODAY.

I lost my iPhone 13 yesterday and I was able to use the Find My app to track it to a specific address. I used Find My to put it in Lost mode.

Is the phone now basically a brick to whoever has this in their posession? I entered my number in the hopes they might contact me (doubtful as they should have turned it in to lost and found), but I would be happy in the knowledge they can’t profit off their theft.

My latest generation Apple 4K is loading everything and has a solid wired Internet connection. I can bring up almost any app watch menu, but as soon as I go to play it just spins with a black screen. Is this a known issue right now? Is there any fix? Turning it on and off is not working.

I accidentally called the phone number 22 on my iPhone 11 and it said emergency calling. This device has no sim and I use it as a car mp3 player. It also made the dial tone, did I make a mistake?

I just got my new iPhone 15 pro max and was trying to transfer my phone number from my iPhone 12 to this one. When I do it, it says “unable to transfer phone number” and says I can try again or call support. but before I call support is wanted to know if there is any simpler way to fix this problem. I tried a few possible solutions like resetting the network, but it did not work.

Hello, my iPhone 13 is completely up to date software wise, and has been slowly getting worse.

At this point, several times a day I will be using my phone and the page I try to browse won’t load.

My WiFi indicates I am connected, but if I try to disconnect using the control center, nothing happens.

If I go to my settings app, there is no wifi listed as me being connected to, and if I tap on the wifi settings, my whole phone freezes.

It’s at this point I have to restart my phone. There is no way for me to be successfully connected to the internet and my cellular data is shadowed by this false wifi I am connected to.

I have tried resetting all network settings to no avail. Please help! Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to fix it?
