Hello all,
I never used Reddit before, so I am not sure if I am asking right questions.

I am thinking to make a switch from an Android (Samsung S21 to be exact) to either iPhone 15 Pro or Samsung S23.
As a long time Android user, it may be beneficial to just purchase whatever the platform that I have been using, but the new iPhone really grabbed my attention and I am pondering whether I should make a switch.

Of course, both are very different, but it will be great if there are significant differences between two phones (e.g. iPhone not having a "back arrow key") and would appreciate any insights from those who have made switch between two platforms (i.e. Galaxy to iPhone vice versa).

I know I could just watch and read multiple tech reviews, but I am not really interested in specs and etc. Just any noticeable differences in everyday use will be helpful. I am heavy in texting, webbrowsing, and youtube-ing anyways.

So, I recently just purchased an iPhone, but I'm passed the 14 days and I really want to exchange the phone I got. The Apple Store will not let me return it or exchange it. What should I do?

Does anybody know if it’s possible to add a stopwatch widget to the Lock Screen? I practice fasting and I use the stopwatch feature in the clock app but I think it would be cool if I could also see it on my Lock Screen. Thanks!

I am looking to purchase an older used Apple Watch. I am only really interested in the zones feature. Would anyone know how old I can go and still have access to this feature? When I reached out to Apple support they said only series 8 and the ultra have it which maybe that’s correct but seems crazy.

Guys I’m so sad I’ve only had my macbook for 2 months and I’ve been taking a lot of care of it but it already has a dent somehow, no idea how it even got there. I’ve legit used the headphone jack 2 times and it looks so bad now since it’s a little caved in.

Hi, I bought this charger to charge my Pixel 8 Pro. Later I returned the Pixel and bought an iPhone 15 pro max. But, I kept charging my phone with this Anker 30 Watt GaN charger.

Usually, I charge my phone till 80% and then when it drops to 20% I charge it again.

What do you think about this charger? Am I harming my phone as I charge it with this charger? Although It clearly mentions that it is iPhone compatible. I am still a bit confused though as I am a new iPhone user who remains a bit worried about his phone's "Battery Health"

I am tired of reddit amongst other apps asking me to download their app when I have to access their site. I want no part of their apps.

Connected Iphone 15 Pro with iPad Pro with USB C cable and when I airdrop files from iPad to iPhone this appears. Searched the web but can’t find any documentation. Anyone seen this before? How does the speed compared to Wifi in your experience?

After trying about every recommendation on the internet, it seems apparent that the fact I am on a ship is not allowing the sleep tracking function to work as it should?

All I seem to get is the ‘time in bed’ which is gathered from my phone anyway right? Other than that, I get no information from the watch throughout my sleep whatsoever, heart rate, respiratory rate or sleep info.

It’s worth noting that this worked perfectly until I came offshore, all I changed was my time zone + sleep schedule to night shift.

Any Ship workers encountered this? Whether it’s the movement of the ship which is very little, or something else? I have no idea.

I mean, it could be worse… and some of the options it provided prove as much.

I don’t like the new notification sound, both too quiet, too long, and also kinda annoying as a notification.

Anyone know how to change it? Even if just to what it was before?

Just asking for curiosity

Anyone else experiencing Netflix running ridiculously slow all of a sudden? When I open Netflix the menus take forever to load and then when I select a movie I get a white spinning wheel that never loads. I tried uninstall the app and restarting my AppleTV but so far nothing has helped. It’s basically been unusable for two days now. I don’t have an issue with any other apps. My internet is 1gig and hardwire to the AppleTV

Also on an unrelated issue. Did Apple make it show you can’t speak the text in app searches? Whenever I try now, it just brings up Siri instead of filing in the text in the app I have open.

The new iphone clearly runs resident evil and ac mirage. The M series apple silicon is clearly powerful than other processors too.

Or why not put the latest A series chip in the apple tv , upgrade the cooling and get the AAA titles to sign a few releases ? With the kind of popularity and reach, wouldnt it have a decent enough market capture ?

I can send imessages to contacts but cant receive them only can receive sms/mms. On my contacts ends when they send a. message it shows no delivered or read receipt as if i blocked them or my phones dead

Is this the weirdest bug or a feature I somehow accidentally activated? The face was live and working. It went back to normal after I launched an app.

I have been using an Android Razer Phone 2 for several years. I decided to upgrade to an iPhone 15 Pro Max today because my old phone just doesn't work anymore. It hasn't had updates or support in a very long time, and most apps won't work on it.

The guy at AT&T assured me it was easy to transfer my data. He proceeds to download the "move to ios" app and it gave an error message (as the razer phone usually does.) So now I'm at home with my new phone but don't know how to transfer all my pictures, videos, contacts, etc.

If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Mine just ended for my iPhone 13 Pro, and I renewed (albeit, month-to-month). Just curious what your thoughts on doing it are..

Can anyone solve this problem?

I recently purchased a 15" M2 16gb 512 SSD MBA from best buy for $1449. The main reason I bought it over the MBP was for the weight. My walk to class is around 15-25 minutes so I wanted something light. However, the MBP (16gb 512 SSD) is on sale for $150 more than the MBA and I'm wondering if it would have been smarter to just get the MBP.

Since I am studying CS, my main usage for my laptop will be coding. This semester, I've mainly had eclipse, vscode, mysql, discord, and the vscode live server and tomcat server running all at once. I am also interested in audio programming so occasionally i'll have visual studio (will need to switch to xcode) and Ableton running at the same time. Next semester will probably be more of the same with some C++ and OpenGL for my video game programming class. I also occasionally work with photoshop/illustrator.

Considering my workload, will the MBP be the better choice? I plan to use my new laptop for my remaining 3 semesters and also my software engineering internship next summer; which will probably have me working with backend technologies.

For reference, my current laptop is a Lenovo - IdeaPad Gaming 3i 15" Intel Core i5-11300H - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 - 8GB Memory - 512GB SSD, which is able to handle my current workload for about 2 hours before dying.
