My AWU2 used to show the open charge ring when placed on the charger at night, but no longer does. Perhaps since I updated to 10.1.1? Anyone else not able to use this feature? I never go through the full battery in a day, so I figure using the charge limit is in my best interest.

Hi, I just got a new iPhone 15 Pro and took my first call on it recently. When I put the call on speakerphone, there was a popup around the speakerphone button telling me some tip about it automatically switching. Unfortunately I accidentally tapped the popup away. Does anyone know what the tip is?

I’m looking for a blu ray player that is compatible with my new MacBook air with M2 chip, and if any players work is there any software I would need to download on my Mac for it? I’m not looking to rip my collection but just to play the tv shows I got on blu ray. I’m not good with the tech side of this, I’m new to Macs and Blu-ray, any help is appreciated thanks!

Spilt water on it, looked and the screen was water logged. Looked again after awhile and screen is black with one flickering light st the bottom and sometimes flickers to a full screen. Shut it off and is now put it into a tent position on a towl. Is there even a chance it's good?

Donating my M1 2020 Air to my mom and thinking of picking up one of these laptops instead of a refurb M2 Air 16GB 512GB. I've been flipflopping for days and was wondering which one would you get if you'd say replace every 3-4 years?

Leaning towards the M2 Pro just for the "newness" of it. I was initially drawn towards the Open Box M1 Pro 10/16 core since performance seems identical to the M2 Pro but the $400 difference for storage seems a bit too much. I have around 100GB free in my 256GB MBA M1. Which would you choose? Is anything I should be aware of or any particular reasons I should choose one or none of the options?

I’ve got Apple Care just dropped it today and I’m so mad at myself it was a gift from my boyfriend. It’s the bottom lens smashed in. I have heard a mix of things and read all sorts of things on if it’s covered if it’s not… anybody know? I know when I get there it’s either they can fix it or they charge me a percent but then why am I paying for Apple Care? What is covered?

So when I delete messages on my phone, they stay on the watch, even though I’ve got it set to mirror. Any ideas? This has driven me nuts for months, I’ve just never thought to ask.

The MBA 13 and MBP 14 have very similar working real estate on their displays. See their default scaled resolutions for better understanding.

If someone is okay with a smaller working real estate on their display, they should consider a MBA 13 or MBP 14. If they want or need MORE working real estate, they shoud consider a MBA 15 or MBP 16.

My Apple Watch SE is stuck on the apple logo and reboot does not work (just flashes logo and then turns off again). It's completely my own fault cause I was dumb enough to wear it in a sauna and also directly afterwards jumping into cold water, so either the temperature change broke the battery or the water/steam caused water damage. It was immediately clear that it was broken, because my emergency services feature jumped in and started calling 911 repeatedly and the screen became unresponsive before shutting down.

My warranty period is over and a repair through Apple would cost as much as a new watch so I checked with some (non-certified) 3rd parties i.e. the 1-man repair shop around the corner. One of them told me they can fix it (could be software, could be water damage) but he mentioned that there's a good chance the screen can break when opening it up and I might have to pay for that.

Is this common with Apple Watch repairs or is this a red flag for me to look for someone else to fix it?

(I understand that in general the risk is bigger of course when getting it non-certified fixed but still wondering if I should check elsewhere, what I should expect)

Also, any ideas what such a repair might cost through a "local" repair shop in Germany?
