Price aside, debating leveraging the current Verizon promo to get a new iPhone and either the newest iPad or newest Apple Watch. Which product is more useful day-to-day: the iPad or Apple Watch? For reference I have a whoop but would cancel the membership for the watch

I have a friend who's relative works at Apple and is able to get me 15% off for the new IPhone 15PM.

The only thing is they have to buy it themselves through Apple, I'll pay them through venmo/check and then they'll give me the phone.

I know this is a silly question, but is there any issues I should consider on my end?

It's a trusted friend and relative, but for example, lets say we stop being friends or the relative and friend have an argument. For whatever reason, could they do something to get the phone back?

Some extra info:
-I dont want AppleCare
-My carrier is AT&T
-I want to buy it in full

So I was wondering what’s the difference between the GPS from the cellular… can the gps watch only be used with wifi and not mobile data or it can? I’m confused. doesn’t really tell me can I buy a plan for the gps online.

iPhone as a primary device

My first Apple device was iPad, I’ve created iCloud account there, and now when I trying to login another device/web I receive confirmation code on my iPad which mostly not near me. How to make my iPhone a primary/main device? Thanks for advice.

Should i upgrade iphone 13 to iphone 15 pro or wait for iPhone 16🤔

Is this a thing that happens with all FaceTime calls? It’s been so long that honestly don’t remember a time when it didn’t happen. I used to think it was an issue because I was using an iPhone 13, but I just upgraded to the 15 Pro recently, and it’s just as bad as ever.

To be clear, it seems like what is happening is the recipient’s audio gets cut off every time a sound/voice is detected on my end, so as natural conversation flows back and forth, a huge chunk of what the recipient is saying gets cut off. The most popular phrase on our FaceTime calls seems to be “Wait, what did you say??” It’s doubly worse for us as a household with a never-ending toddler.

So what’s up? Is this normal? Or can I fix this somehow?

Note: I know about the Voice Isolation settings. I just find it super annoying that I have to swap between modes multiple times or mute everything in my background each call just to have a halfway understandable FaceTime conversation.

I was under the impression that all Apple Watches have auto brightness that detects how bright the screen should be, but I also see that there's a dial to adjust the brightness yourself. Does one override the other after a period of time? How do I get auto brightness back on if I've made adjustments with the dial at some point?
