This song feels so heavy. It's almost emotionally draining to listen to, but its too beautiful to not.

This song and "Lunar Caustic" are some of the most heavy metal songs. Not "hard", but heavy.

This song starts out mellow and intimate and builds into a doom metal ballad of passion. It's truly magnificent.

The music collection will stay open with a few minor changes. I will still be using Firefish (@soundsforthevoid), so you check me out there as well, but I needed an easy way to manage two communities on different platforms.

So, the slightly altered format for post titles will be: Artist - Song #genre #genre. I know that's kind of an annoying change, and hashtags are kind of lame, but I really want it to be as easy as possible to cross-post between platforms.

Also, after talking to @Varyk@sh.itjust.works (thank you) on the other post, I will continue to just recommend users block this community if it overwhelms your local feed. This was a big concern, since there were complaints before about it affecting some users.

An album/song from Leonard Cohen on his death bed. The album came out in October 2016 and he passed away in November 2016. Such an amazing album experience we will never be able to hear again from him.

I'm still unsure if this place is a good fit for sharing music at a relatively fast rate. I really didn't like when the original andro community was taking over the local feed. It's not so bad now, since lemmy has grown exponentially, but the posts from the original community were at least diverse in content.

Here for the music community, everyone's feed would be clogged with music they may, or may not like. Even if you did like it all, it still sucks seeking local filled with content from only one community/user, so I'm going to give this other place a shot.

I've never had a twitter, or similar socials, but it seems like a good fit for this type of content. The original !theandrocollection@lemm.ee community will stay here, but you can find where I'm posting music I find at @soundsforthevoid. Firefish is federated, so if you have mastodon, or similar accounts, you can follow me there.

Sorry to disappoint you if you liked what I was sharing here, but I figured I'd act early, so the community didn't grow any larger and affect more people. If it doesn't work out over there, I'll be back here and tell you!
