Unmanned systems forces continue the hunt: another air defense system destroyed

Operators of the 412th NEMESIS Regiment in Luhansk region destroyed the Strela-10M4 (9K35M4) anti-aircraft missile system, one of the most modern modifications of the Soviet Strela-10 air defense system.

This system is capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 5 kilometers and at an altitude of 10 meters. Its task was to cover the units of the invaders, primarily from Ukrainian drones. But our operators once again demonstrated who is the real master in the sky.

This is the second destroyed "Strela" and the fifth air defense system destroyed by SBS units in February. We continue #ППОцид of the enemy!

The United Nations general assembly has backed a resolution drafted by Ukraine and the European Union condemning Russia on the third anniversary of its full-scale invasion, spurning a rival US resolution reflecting Donald Trump’s split with Europe and growing union with Vladimir Putin.

The United States, Russia, Belarus and North Korea all voted against the EU-Ukrainian resolution underlining an extraordinary shift in US policy since the US president’s election that has largely absolved the Russian president of responsibility for the invasion.

In the vote, 93 countries supported the joint European resolution that named Russia an aggressor state and called on it to remove its troops from Ukraine, while 18 countries including the US and Russia voted against.

Summary

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated he is willing to resign if it ensures peace or NATO membership for Ukraine.

"If it is peace for Ukraine, and if you really want me to leave my post, I’m ready," he said. "Alternatively, I can trade this for NATO membership... I’m focusing on Ukraine’s security today, not in 20 years."

His comments come amid tensions with Donald Trump, who falsely suggested the Ukrainian president was responsible for starting the war.

Meanwhile, U.S.-Russia negotiations continue without Ukraine, which Zelenskyy firmly rejects. Zelenskyy emphasized the importance of Ukrainian involvement in any peace negotiations.

Ukraine plans to end the war this year with a just peace, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said at the Ukraine: Year 2025 conference in Kyiv on Feb. 23.

Sybiha noted that this is the goal of President Volodymyr Zelensky and told partners that “it is time to fasten our diplomatic seat belts” and “not give in to emotions.”

“We are convinced that we really have a chance to end the war this year,” Sybiha said.
