This is just one action in a coming conflict. It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. Does the record industry win and digital likenesses become outlawed, even taboo? Or does voice, appearance etc just become another sets of rights that musicians will have to negotiate during a record deal?

I found The Warez Collectors (TWC) on the-eye.eu while looking for something else entirely, but I noticed a message that they're quitting.

When I go to a site like 1337x or tgx, they never have smaller games, and if they do, they have no seeders.

My set up has been MPC and MadVR for HDR content, but dolby vision when I tried long ago didn't work properly.

Has any players come out since then for dolby vision support?

Would ask this on a LinuxCrackSupport community. Without it, the best choice is here, as i didnt buy the game on steam.

TGAA uses wmv cutscenes during the first half of the game. They cant play properly, getting stuck on a black screen. While it could be circumvented by removing the wmv files, skipping the cutscenes altogether is detrimental to the story, as this game is sort of a mystery-focused vn. Cutscenes are important.

The wmv files can be played with mf-installcab, according to this reddit post. The issue im having is that most online help refers to either steam, lutris or a raw ~/.wine folder. I use Bottles to run windows software, so if its possible to keep using that instead of Lutris, itd be appreciated.

-I tried this command line from a "Kingdom Hearts on Linux" tutorial to run mf-installcab on the bottle and it seemed to properly run and install the necessary dependencies. However, the cutscenes still do not work.

-I tried re-encoding the cutscenes as suggested here, but that did not work either, nor i expected it to.

-Using the Bottles options, I installed the Media Foundation dependency. That did not work either.

My situation is highly specific, even for a linux user, so i dont expect nor demand a solution. Apparently lutris works just fine from what i can read, so i might try that if nothing else works. Still, any help, no matter how small, will be appreciated.

Heya all. As per title, I'm looking for a good dark theme for qbittorrent. So far I've tried three (MumbleDark, Dracula, DarkStyleSheet), and they all have black text on dark grey background for unselected torrents.

This, imo, is about as clever as going 4000m underwater in a rinkydink submersible that's barely rated for 2000m. Surely someone wouldn't go to the trouble of creating a dark mode, with black text on dark grey. Wondering if it's something to do with my windows 10 setup, or just how it's designed... can anyone direct me to one that doesn't have this 'feature' or solve why this happens? Help much appreciated!

I want to play Phasmophobia with wine but it's not starting and i have a unity crash, is it even playable with wine?

Im used to pirating single player games, usually fitgirl. Cities Skylines 2 is coming soon and I can pay for the base game but Im not gonna pay for all those DLC, and I also want to download workshop content, considering that for this game the workshop is better than many DLC.

The way I see it I have some options but Im not familiar with pirating DLC separately or pirating the workshop so Idk what to do.

Do I just pirate the game and DLC, which is easy, and then download the workshop not having steam access? (idk how or if I can do this)

Do I buy the base game, and get access to the workshop, and then only pirate the DLC? (idk if the game might detect pirated DLC and stop working)

All help is welcome :D If there is some obvious mega-thread page that I have missed Im sorry, its really long and it has so much to read that I get lost.

Does anyone know how I can become an uploader for pirated content? is there any type of money to be had if I wanted to do it full time?

At the very least I’m curious, at the very most I’ve always wanted to give something back to the community that gave me so much free stuff.
