I heard that LearnFlakes is the best place for this stuff but damn near impossible to get into without an invite. Does anyone know of other public trackers which are good for this stuff?

Thanks

Just curious if anyone knows of any font torrents, especially where the contained fonts are listed. I am looking for ITC Founder’s Caslon in particular (https://www.myfonts.com/collections/founders-caslon-font-itc), but any of the Fell Types in general (in addition to these, which I have already snagged: https://iginomarini.com/fell/the-revival-fonts/).

looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement DRM into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don't run a complaint browser ( cough...firefox )

here is an article in hacker news since i'm sure they can explain this to you better than i.

and also some github docs

Hi there, sorry if this information has already been shared, I had a look in the megathread and wiki and could not find something specific to children programmes. Is there a good tracker for them? Preferably a public one. I'm particularly interested in any kind of star wars content (like Lego) but I'm not finding much. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I am looking to buy a VPN subscription, and im interested in getting one that allows port forwarding. Found a few that still allows this, including pure VPN and air VPN which seem to offer good value for money, at least on the the long term plans. Any feedback on these two?

I used to have nordvpn, and used it for 3 years, and once that subscription ran out, have been using mullvad so far. Performance wise mullvad hasnt disappointed me or anything, but now im looking to find one that allows port forwarding.

I also have a doubt regarding the whole port forwarding thing, does the VPN having this feature enable to do it even if my ISP doesnt allow port forwarding? From the videos and articles I read, VPN port forwarding is just something you do inside their native apps and such, so if the ISP hasnt enabled port forwarding for me (which I know it hasnt, because tried to get jellyfin working the other day, and couldnt get the ports to open even after setting everything up in my router), will I still be able to do it? I tried searching around with this query, but didnt really find anything.

I haven't used IPT in about 4 months and went to log back into it today only to find my account has been deactivated. I went onto the IRC and was told that inactive accounts can't be recovered, which is annoying as the account was years old with a good ratio.

However, onwards an upwards. I am wondering where the best place to get an invite for IPT is? Can anyone point me in the right direction, or throw an invite my way (I can provide ratio screenshots)

Sorry if this felt like a noobie question, as im new to the world of private trackers.

What's the best way to access private tracker invites? Is it considered really okay or safe to purchase account invites from websites like (invitez) and (torrentinvites)?

Recently I attended a lecture series. Those lectures were shared on Microsoft 365 sharepoint. There was no way to download those videos for offline viewing. Then after lot of searching got this. So I am sharing this here as my first post on this instance.

Best Debrid service? (lemmy.sdf.org)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by refurbishedrefurbisher@lemmy.sdf.org to c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

I've been using Real Debrid for about a year now, but there're a couple of things making me want to switch.

I like to share my account with a couple of friends. Real Debrid gave me a warning about banning my account if I use it concurrently with someone else.

Real Debrid no longer accepts emails from AnonAddy or Tutanota. I would much rather not have to give out any real contact info.

Looking for a comparable service that caches torrents from anyome who downloads it and provides a link premiumizing service. I would also like to be able to give out direct links for the purposes of using Syncplay.

Whatever I use must be compatible with Torrentio inside of Stremio.

Just like the title says; I'm interested in being able to sleep to YouTube without ads, but I don't fuck with their business practices and they don't deserve my money. Unfortunately, I'm also a very inexperienced pirate and I'm unsure where to look.

Edit: for clarity I'm using a OnePlus 7 Pro with earbuds

I have some stuff on Audible but don't want to pay for OpenAudible to De-DRM them. What would be the best place to get those audiobooks? Audiobookbay has nothing I'm looking for.

If you obtain a book on the High Seas, is it safe to use Kindle as the Epub reader? Would it phone home to Amazon that you have an "otherwise obtained" book?

Indonesian moving to Australia soon, I'm just concerned my laptop/phone will be checked for pirated content.

The general rule of thumb I've seen around the internet is "encrypt your drive", which is easy enough. But the other approach typically says "bring a burner phone / laptop" which of course isn't viable in my case.

Can anyone confirm on the legitimacy of these claims? I know I pirate light (""light"" compared to the vets here), but I'm just so paranoid that I could be held up and sent back home, because this might be my only shot.

Hi, In short: will I run the risk of receiving an angry Hetzner e-mail telling me to stop downloading torrents when I configer my local deluge client to connect through a local gluetun VPN client to a selfhosted wireguard vpn on a hetzner server? I have limited knowledge of VPNs but as far as I understand it the connection provided through gluetun from client to server (vpn) is safe, encrypted, private (somewhat) But connections from the (vpn) server to the public tracker is not, right? Or does the vpn tunnel extend to the destination? Context: I am running a deluge torrent client to download and seed torrents coming from radarr and sonarr its all running containerized through docker on my local machine. The Deluge client is using a VPN connection (via Windscribe) through a gluetun vpn client. `https://github.com/qdm12/gluetun.
I am not very happy with the speeds of Windscribe and I have small Hetzner server running with a wireguard vpn container I got working, that I hope should provide a faster download/upload speed.

Hetzner is pretty strict when it comes to downloading torrents from public trackers. A couple of years ago I basically had my plex server and a deluge client running on one of their servers. At first I used only private trackers but some content was not available so I added some torrents from public trackers. A couple of days after I got an angry e-mail from viacom through hetzner telling to quit it.

Does anyone self host their VPN and on what? And do you use it for downloading?

jackett (by the way thanks to those suggesting it here!) lists hundreds of indexers... but how to choose which ones to focus on? Is there an updated repository with some stats and indexing by category, popularity and easiness of access, or forums with reviews? Some basic google searches provide SEO optimized pages listing some of the most popular ones but was wondering whether there was some "insider" "awesome-torrent" repo with this kind of info, thanks!

I'm looking for a a manga that came out in April 2009, It contains 4 different Star Trek TNG stories called;

  • Changeling

Picard assigns newly commissioned Ensign Wesley Crusher to his first away mission. What follows is an amusing lesson in humility for a newbie ensign who's just a little too full of himself. Stardate 43903.2 Trade paperback anthology of manga-style Star Trek: The Next Generation tales. Edited by Luis Reyes and Bryce P. Coleman. ISBN 9781427812728, 5 in X 7.5 in, 192pp, b&w.

  • Sensation

Answering a distress call from an archeological expedition, Crusher and Troi must find the cause of a disease affecting expedition staff that ultimately begins to spread among the crew of the Enterprise. Stardate 44389.2

  • The Picardian Knot

The captain's emotional state is in question following an aborted assassination attempt by a Romulan officer. Stardate 43920.9

  • Loyalty

While Picard is recuperating from his assimilation by the Borg, Riker is called to a secret meeting. Senior Starfleet officers want to sideline Picard and put Riker in command of the Enterprise. The first officer mounts an emotional defense of his captain, with some surprising help from Commander Shelby. Stardate 44012.3

There was also an October 2020 reprint called Star Trek: The Manga - Boukenshin.

Star Trek Graphic Novel Collection Volume 135. Hardcover reprint published in the UK.

More information about it is here & here here.

I have looked at GetComics & LibGen, neither have it, libgen has only a single 2006 TOS manga. I have a usenet subscription if that is helpful. As per the instance rules, I'm not looking for a specific link, I should be able to figure what direction to look next with a point in the right direction.

Torrent creator on Linux? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)
submitted 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago) by seeder@lemmy.dbzer0.com to c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Is there any Torrent Creator on Linux that supports BEP-47 protocol (optimize alignment) ? It’s okay with or without GUI.

Currently using mktorrent, but does not support this important feature. I didn’t find anything on google.

Any suggestions? thanks.

EDIT: for creating v1 torrent.

I know next to nothing about widevine decryption so forgive my ignorance - I was wondering if I download protected files now and get a widevine key later from another device, would I be able to decrypt the file with that key? or must the decryption be done with the same key/device that was used to download the file?
