It does not. Don’t commit actual real life crimes.

Something to note is the comments on stickers in Legacy:

The rise in popularity and competitiveness of ________ Goblin is, however, an issue for tabletop play. While it is acceptable for the player that is opting into the Goblins deck and the requirement of bringing a sticker deck to accommodate ________ Goblin, it puts pressure on all opponents to also bring a sticker deck. This is because a player can bluff or represent a deck that requires stickers at the start of the match, but also cards like Phyrexian Metamorph or Phantasmal Image would likely want to copy ________ Goblin to net a bunch of mana and you must have a sticker deck to get that ability. “Neither of these things are ideal,” Musser said. “We are aware of it. It is an in-paper issue only, but it is something that we are currently in search of a solution for. I think we can promise by the next [B&R] window we will have a solution.”

Got this because I don't like carrying cash (weird because I'm pretty into privacy, but I have a minimal wallet and am scared to hold lines up at stores lol)

It actually has to be broken to open which I love. The "MTG Fund" part was a joke at first but it's been a while since I was excited for a set and actually wanted to spend money on it. Bloomburrow seems promising, loved Redwall as a kid.

Might just be product fatigue. I've been very into pauper commander lately which holds me over

Could you please clarify for me? If I activate an ability that has a cost and then copy it, do I need to pay the cost again for the copy to resolve?

For example, the ability of [[Isareth, the Awakener]]. If I decide to attack and pay X mana to reanimate a creature, do I also have to pay again if I copy the ability? And if so, am I able to pay a different amount, considering that the source of the copying states, "You can choose new targets for the copy"?

A second question is for a card like [[Drana, Liberator of Malakir]]. If she deals direct damage and her ability triggers, would the +1/+1 counter be placed on each attacking creature, including herself, twice, were I to copy it?

I'm not sure if it's necessary to mention, but I am new to this, I am using [[The Peregrine Dynamo]] to copy those abilities.

Thank you for your help in clarifying this!

I get where the theming is coming from, but from the outside (I haven't played Magic in years, I like reading your design insights though) the "Commit a Crime" stuff looks like it is going to be treated like Gotcha by the players. Certainly "we'll see", but it looks/smells very similar from where I'm sitting.

It will cause inaction? You are encouraged to commit crimes, so it incentivizes interaction, not deter it.

This comes as a response to the reminder text he shared about commiting a crime:

The Reminder Text for Committing a Crime

Because there’s been so much talk about it, I’ve gotten permission to show it to all of you:

(Targeting opponents, anything they control, and/or cards in their graveyards is a crime.)

No word on if it will be legal for regular play, but not likely given its size

Note that this is a regularly scheduled one so not an indication that there will be any changes

Edit: I really need to finish reading the whole article before posting. Looks like there will be changes but no hints

Blake Rasmussen offered a reminder for Monday’s B&R announcement yesterday on Weekly MTG (starting at 1:15:10 in the video above), adding that Tuesday’s Weekly MTG stream will be a discussion on the update. This last part points to a possibility that this B&R announcement will take action and not be like October 16’s update that offered no changes and no explanation which led to the revamping of the handling of B&R announcements.

I've already made some of them (loyalty and +1/+1) but they don't convince me. I'm looking to remake those and also add -1/-1, ability counters, and a way to differentiate between +1/+1 counters and "creatures get +x/+x”. Would be nice to also add some counters for Commander Tax and for tokens (for when I have multiple Treasures, for example).

Before I spend a whole day designing them, I wanted to see if anyone got something already!

Since I know the question is gonna pop-up anyway, I'll answer now: I'd rather print and glue them on paper than buy plastic dice. Seen some non-plastic on Etsy, but they're too expensive for my liking. Printing them at home is gonna cost me basically nothing so I'd prefer that!

Thank you in advance!
