I've recently updated to Plasma 6.1 and I've loved it so far. However, there's one thing that has made things difficult for me—I can't get to ‘Panel Configuration’ and make changes to my panels.

This screen recording shows me failing to get to the ‘Panel Configuration’ in my top panel (though the same problem exists for all of my panels).

For further context, I use Plasma 6.1 with Wayland on Arch Linux. Some other details from the Plasma Info Center are provided below:

If there's any more information I need to gather in order to resolve this problem or make a bug report, I'd love to know.

After an update I noticed discover was this weird yellow color, I opened settings and noticed it too was yellow, thinking it was some bug, I restarted PC, now everything is yellow. I tried inverting colors but that is something completely different. I'm not even sure what was updated to cause this.

I'm running mint 21.3 with plasma 5.27.11

So I've got plasma 5.27.5 on MX 23 (based on Debian 12) and am sometimes seeing a delay in the lock screen activation after waking from suspend. It's a good few seconds of whatever I had on my screen being being visible before the lock screen pops up. Anyone else get this issue?

@kde another feature forced really hard on users, with Konsole this time: the color preview

I can't remember when this landed in KDE as it just added to the list of "new KDE features" I tried to ignore while struggling to keep focus, but that list never ceases to expand 😬

moreover, the option to disable that color preview feature I don't need is burried deep: the only way to turn it off is by creating a new Konsole profile 🤦‍♂️

On KDE neon 6 using Wayland, OBS 30.1.2 is black when trying "Screen Capture (PipeWire)" or "Window Capture (PipeWire)", when launching from terminal, the following line stands out :

When asking the OBS community, I'm told :

Sounds like a broken PipeWire and/or xdg-desktop-portal install. That would be a question for your distro's support channels

SOLVED : the xdg-desktop-portal package crashes since v1.18.3 (see issue report), so downgrading it fixes this.

I love my kde plasma and G915 keyboard. What is the best logitech keyboard to select in settings? How compatible is the G915 with plasma? Can I get the Keyboard LEDS to sync with the accents yet? If so how?

I have a fairly new Debian KDE install - I've been tweaking and fixing things for the past week quite happily.

Was trying to fix the volume keys not working this evening. Logged into TTY2 and ran showkey --scancodes and showkey --keycodes per a forum post in an attempt to diagnose and fix. When I hit ctrl+alt+F7 to get back to my session, it was back at the login screen, as if I'd typed my password (ie dots entered for password and greyed out as if I'd then hit enter)

And there it stayed.

Reboot brings me to login, type password (fingerprint reader no longer registers) and there it hangs again.

I can log in just fine through the console (incidentally, the fingerprint reader works just fine there). startx will then happily run a gui from there with full access to my files. I've also created a new user via console and I can log in graphically just fine via that one too.

But my main user login remains stubbornly broken. Any ideas on what's happened?
