I went to New Communities and when I clicked on any link, it would exit the app and take me to my browser. Also when trying to press and hold to copy a link, it behaved like a short press.

Ive been trying to post comments to a few communities under the .ml suffix but I keep getting a language not allowed message? I have no problems on my home instance or beehaw?

We need to add a "share" menu item to the post options menu.

Getting more people to join will be a byproduct of sharing the content.

Is there a feature request list anywhere I could contribute to?

Exactly what the title says. I'm not a native English speaker, so almost everything regarding auto-correct and word suggestions is turned off, except for grammar and speeling checks, that is set to underline. Underlining works in every other app, except Jerboa. Why is that?

I know that the second button from the left pull up a search bar, but I haven't seen one anywhere else and I'd like my toolbar to be disabled. I prefer the cleaner look.

I am seeing the replies to my comments and posts in the inbox but I can't seem to find a way to reply to them directly from the inbox or click on something that leads me back to that thread to reply to it... Am I doing something wrong?

When tapping on a link to some community, Jerboa crashes, e.g. on Plantid@mander.xyz

On v0.0.34. Is there a setting for this or is it just a bug?

I came over from Boost for Reddit so the UI on Jerboa is relatively familiar. That said, as it stands a tap collapses a comment while long pressing a comment opens the action bar.

I was wondering if we could get an option to customize tap and long press behavior?

Obviously this is a very nitpicky behavior so I understand if dev resources are better spent elsewhere.

I have been trying to search for a specific topic in a community and I just can't find the option if there is one.

In my All feed if there's a single community apart of a particular instance I can block it and have it filtered out of my feed no problem.

What I can't do is filter out all of the communities from a single instance. There are some themed instances that I know I do not want to see any posts from any of their communities. Not my cup of tea.

Atm I have to keep blocking their communities one at a time as they trickle into my feed. It would be nice if I could block them all at once based on the instance that they come from.

I don't know if I'm just missing an option somewhere or if it doesn't exist yet, but I don't see anywhere to configure push notifications to my android phone.

Is there any way the mods can change the display name of this community so it's an actual name instead of jerboa@lemmy.ml? Most of the other communities have done this, so it makes this community look strange in the feeds.

sounds a bit stupid, but since the last update I do get answers to my comments in my messages, but I can't directly answer them, or I don't find the correct button for that

now I go to to the original thread, search for my comment, scroll through the answers, pick the one I wanted to reply to and then I can answer

I'm not sure, if I'm just to bind/stupid, but earlier I somehow had that option - IIRC

Currently, I feel like it is difficult to navigate from the inbox to a specific reply in the thread. The usual control panel with upvote/downvote and the three dot options menu don't show up for comments on the inbox. I would love to be able to jump straight from a reply comment directly to the comment on the thread with context.

Sometimes I'm done reading a thread of comments or specifically want to just skip past one and move on to the next top-level comment.

It's just my humble opinion, but I'm not a fan of the new look to have the score and arrows visible on the main page. I feel like it's too easy to vote and move on and not truly interact with the post.

Also, the numbers play an immediate influence in whether you want to check the post out or not. It's too easy to make a snap judgement and I feel like it reduces engagement overall.

Just my thoughts. Would love to hear others as well!

Sorry if this has been asked (if community search is implemented, I can better check for redundancy 🤞). Is there a way to see which posts I have previously upvoted? I guess I could save all the NewCommunities posts that interest me, but since links open outside the app, I've been upvoting them and just realized I do not know how to actually revisit them. I'll switch to saving them, but if this feature is existing, I'd like to know. Thank you for your help and patience, wise Jerboa masters. 🙇

Hey everyone, Ive created a sublem (community) because I saw it was missing on here and I liked it on reddit, but now that Im the mod of it Id like any help/advice on how to effectively moderate through Jerboa. Is it possible or do I need to do it through the web interface? Thanks in advance!

I'd like to make a few requests, especially regarding link handling.

• Lemmy links (e.g. a lot of people linking recommended communities) with this app
• Other links in regular browser, not in-app one

I hope that we'll reach beta (or better, stable) soon!
