I can't subscribe on Jerboa, but I can on Lemmy.world

Whenever i try to post images they posted with Jerboa as laying images.. Annoying.

So as i mentioned in the title, the captions for the inbox and the bookmarks look weird when i set the apps language to german.

I suggest setting a minimum font size if AXML happens to allows it.

When reading old messages in the inbox clicking on the link to view it in context of the post then returning to the inbox marks them as unread giving the message in inbox for each notification this is performed on.

Marking all as read will remove unread notification again.

Just a convenience issue when creating a post, you're in the community that you want to post in, and you still have to fill it in again.

Usually the option is there, but sometimes only block user is available.

So say my main page is sorted TopSixHours, but I open a community and change the sort there to New. Would it be possible for Jerboa to continue to sort that community by New when I open it in the future?

Due to the security incident last night, my instance required all users to log in again. I tried in jerboa and could not. I am posting this from my browser.

Edit: I was able to get it to work when I tried today. Changes since my last attempt

-closed the app and opened android app properties and cleared all app storage and cache

-2fa is now enabled

-checked for no trailing spaces from the phone keyboard (found no need for corrections)

Since the hack on lemmy.world and a few others, the admins have killed sessions that were logged in. If you are experiencing any weirdness, try logging out of the app and then back in. Fixed the issues I was having this morning. Shout-out to Jerboa development channel on Matrix for the fix.

my post page is...empty. i can see my comments, i can see i have 3 posts, i cannot actually see them from the posts menu. EDIT: it turns out if you disable showing read posts in the settings, it will also hide your posts.

Is this a jerboa issue?

Jerboa is loading pictures extremely slowly, up to 10 seconds per picture. Testing with website and other apps like connect I'm getting much more reasonable load times. Anyone else having this issue?

Had to download Connect for Lemmy to post this. Stuck in an endless loop of logging in on Jerboa. I'll log in and it will show my subscriptions and username on the side bar but when I try to comment or vote on anything it tells me to log in first, even though I already logged in, and when I refresh the app I'm suddenly logged out again. This has been happening for several days now but it makes Jerboa completely useless. Is there a fix for this?

When viewing comments and collapsing them; if you leave that view for any reason like creating/editing a comment or taping on a username, when you return to those comments they have all expanded again losing the place you've scrolled to.

/edit: This has been resolved.

Weird racist posts from dank memes keeps showing up in my feed. Are we doing anything to prevent becoming Voat 2.0? We're really concerned about Threads and that's a big unknown. Weird racists already destroyed the last Reddit escape are we concerned about that? Like are we going to make a policy of defederating hate groups?

I'm pretty confident this community is using fake accounts since every post starts at ~20 and then gets down voted after it's been forced into a bunch of people's feed.

If not that's fine I guess but does anyone have a suggestion for somewhere that will?

Hi there :) I was wondering if it was somehow possible to add sharing images directly from the app. When I open an image, I have a download button, but I would also like to be able to share them directly to other apps.

Other than that I'm having a great time, thanks a lot!

Apparently it happens when there are more than 10 new comments, which takes up space and makes this icon shrink.

These arrows are present whenever you are in the comment sections. Is it possible to disable them? I don't really see a point in them being there. I don't have use for them and they just take up screen space.

Would be nice with a on / off option.

Otherwise I love this app! It's really great and I've not had that much issues with it.

Lemmy seems to have the feature to hide read posts which is a wonderful feature. The issue I seem to have is that I'm order to mark a post as read, I need to interact with that post in some fashion. Sometimes, I don't want to and just don't need to.

Sometimes you can see the specific number of upvotes & downvotes on posts and other times you can't. Is this a community feature or an app bug?
