I recently came into possession of this beautiful clock! I don’t know anything about it unfortunately and the hourly gong mechanism appears to have slipped, but it keeps time!

Needless to say, that watch got pre-cleaned right away and all the cleaning fluids safely disposed off :-)

This is a very interesting (and expensive, and sensitive) clock mechanism that generally doesn't require any energy, it gets it from the atmosphere.

Of course, as any fine timepiece goes, it needs proper maintenance every now and then..

Don't mind me if I drop posts of interesting timepieces occasionally...

This build is super crazy and creative, and explains the internal workings of a clock, in detail, in its own unique way.
