Jimmy "Juche" Carter arc?

Just saw an article about coal consumption reaching an all time high this year. I know obviously China leads the world in population AND renewable energy, but they also lead it in coal consumption by a long shot. It's alarming to me. How fast are they moving away from it? Is it fast enough?

What do we make of this? I don't mean to be overly critical but it just seems like they're moving way too slow to me, given that we have literally 10 years before we hit +1.5C.

According to RWU Organizer Ron Kaminkow, “We have been played for well over a century by politicians and union officials alike. The fiasco of recent months will show that perhaps the time has come for railroad workers to push for a unified and powerful labor organization of all crafts, together with a political party that will better serve the interest of not just railroad workers but all working-class people.”

Before I welcome you all to this weeks Discusstion post I would like to mention that as many of you know, the Former prisident of the Peoples Republic of China, our Comrade Jiang Zemin passed away on November 30th of leukemia. I would like to wish, on behalf of the mod team of GenZedong, and I hope on behalf of the community that we wish our Comrade, Jiang Zemin to rest in peace, his memory shall not be forgotten.
