This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

I see sex work as somewhat analogous to coal mining. It's not that it isn't real work, or that those who work in that capacity don't deserve rights, dignity, or a society that works for them. The problem, of course, is the ever-present exploitation of the workers coupled with the severe unpleasantness of the occupation which ensures that the people who do work these jobs are those with few other options. That isn't to say that all sex workers and/or coal miners are miserable. Even so, the patterns around this kind of work are unmistakable.

Given these facts, I think most reasonable people understand that sex work should go extinct. That isn't to say that you can't make pornography or have sex with strangers. However, it's impossible to gauge enthusiastic consent when money is changing hands, and enthusiastic consent is a vital component for an ethical sexual encounter.

My question for the community is how exactly this is meant to be accomplished. How can sex work be abolished without harming the very people it's meant to protect? The number one problem western sex workers face, more so than creepy clients, is the cops, who profile them, steal their wages, and arrest them on a whim. Clearly, criminalizing sex work hasn't done much for sex workers. What are some alternatives?

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced Mexico will lead an international movement to end the US government's "inhumane" blockade against Cuba. Praising Fidel Castro as a "visionary", AMLO denounced neoliberalism and pledged support for universal public healthcare and education.

The IMF can literally conjure any amount of money out of thin air whenever they feel like it wtf how have I never heard about this

And before you ask, yes, almost all money created goes straight into the coffers of western countries instead of to the global south

A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman on Monday urged the United States to stop its political stunt of the temporary easing of sanctions against Syria, demanding an immediate lifting of the unilateral sanctions on the tremor-stricken country.

Speaking to a regular press conference, Wang Wenbin made the remarks commenting on the six-month sanctions exemption issued by the U.S. Department of the Treasury for Syria-bound humanitarian aid on Thursday, three days after massive earthquakes and aftershocks struck Türkiye and neighboring Syria.

At first I was a bit skeptical about the 14/88 thing, admittedly it did sound like it could plausibly have been 2 random numbers of tanks(maybe it is anyways it doesn’t really matter tbh it’s still being used to defend a client state of Imperialism) but after seeing this comment, idk. This almost makes me double down as illogical as that sounds. The entire analysis is ridiculous and I almost thought it was a joke.

See title. I'd be interested to see someone like Rosa Luxembourg in the lineup. All women is good too but if there's a mix I'd like that.

Not for anything important, just curious.

Despite the US blowing up infrastructure and sanctioning its adversaries, China is the country many in the West see as a “threat” to world peace.

That lie has become more apparent as the US impedes China’s ability to help quake-hit Syria.

...

The laughably fake portrayal of China as “bad” and the US as “good” is becoming more and more clear as Beijing struggles against America’s political games to send much-needed aid to the people of earthquake-hit Syria, and a shocking expose about the US being behind the Nord Stream pipeline explosions shows the levels Washington will go to to stay on top while smashing every other country down, even their so-called allies.

At least 12,000 people have lost their lives so far after a massive 7.8 earthquake hit Turkey and Syria on February 6, with many governments scrambling to send rescue teams and aid to the two countries. China already has a top 82-member rescue team in Turkey, and has also sent 40 million RMB is emergency aid, as well as urgently needed disaster relief supplies. But when it comes to Syria, there’s a problem: Syria is heavily sanctioned by the US, whose military currently occupies an oil-rich area in the northeastern part of the country. This means that much-needed aid cannot reach the government there.

China’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said: “The devastating earthquakes - on top of years of war and turmoil - have left Syria in a terrible humanitarian crisis. The UN and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies have called for emergency aid to Syria to avoid further deterioration of its humanitarian situation.

The US has long been engaged in the Syrian crisis. Its frequent military strikes and harsh economic sanctions have caused huge civilian casualties and taken away the means to subsistence of the Syrians. As we speak, the US troops continue to occupy Syria’s principal oil-producing regions. They have plundered more than 80% of Syria’s oil production and smuggled and burned Syria’s grain stock. All this has made Syria’s humanitarian crisis even worse.

In the wake of the catastrophe, the US should put aside geopolitical obsessions and immediately lift the unilateral sanctions on Syria, to unlock the doors for humanitarian aid to Syria.”

Unfortunately the silesian autonomists are libertarians and no one is treating them seriously, but the silesian nationality is the problem that is being shushed in Poland hard since Poland has tried hard to prevent it from emerging as true nation for over 100 years now.

This is an older video but I think some of you might enjoy it quite a bit. A little bit of a dive into the US surveillance state and how we utilize satellites and such for surveillance. Watched this back when I was just a lib bidding into Socialism and "US may be evil" thoughts. Was reminded about it earlier today and had to really dig through my shit to find it.

no idea where to post it, so i post it to the biggest community. Since the update in this week, when i'm writing a comment, and someone in the meantime write a comment to me when notification pops up, everything i'm writing currently gets completely deleted. Is there some setting to fix this or i would have to resign from even moderately long posts?
