Primarily for those who don't already have a discussion group. We started a few weeks ago, and this week's text is Mao's "On Contradiction".

You can join the group at #reading-group:genzedong.xyz (an encrypted room), either through the GenZedong Matrix space (see this post) or by asking for an invitation in this thread.

It won't require intensive reading/listening; it should be doable for anyone who works or studies full time. We're currently following a study plan from China, but we can add recommended texts (decided by vote)

Since a funny word filter does not exist (yet), I suggest we use the term crackerverse anyway as the true and proper way to call the "international community".

I saw a post on Lemmygrad a few minutes back about updating the article on China. Lo and behold, I was awed by the immense thermonuclear energy being emitted from the page. You guys might want to do something about this...

Just in case we get "that" type of guy coming over.

I am looking for any article/post that explains the involvement of China in Myanmar from a leftist perspective. From what I know from a Myanmar acquaintance, there is an overall negative sentiment towards China because they support the junta, giving China control over trade & industries.

(Let me know if this post belongs in a different community)

Iran has become a full member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, along with China, Russia, India, Pakistan, and Central Asian nations. The SCO represents 40% of the global population and one-third of the world economy. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi called for challenging "Western hegemony" and de-dollarizing trade in the region, instead using local currencies for international settlements.
