I use a PS5 controller, it's 2024, this stuff should just work now. I shouldn't have to experiment with different combinations of ds4windows, hidhide, launching through Steam and quitting Steam from running altogether just to get it to work. Cyberpunk manages just fine, so why do I have to jump through a million hoops for literally everything else? While I'm complaining, Steam is only marginally better at this.

RIP Spec Ops: The Line

Also fuck licensing. Also fuck these big companies that are too cheap to keep their back catalogues available. Bodes extremely well for the future, I love it

Keep circulating the ~~tapes~~ GOG installers

Why is the game more expensive in Kazakhstan than in Norway? Why is it 25% cheaper in Singapore? Why is Brazil more expensive than Japan? Why is Pakistan/South Asia the same price as the U.S?

Atleast before, Turks and Argentine people got the cheapest price (and that made sense with hyperinflation and low purchasing power) but now they nerfed that shit.

I'm looking for mods where you can play as proper left wing world power. I've tried Kaiserreich and at first I thought it was neat idea until one of the early world event that pops out was fucking Mosley and no-fash having meeting in socialist Britain to create a fash charter. And the mod equate fash with Leninism. Want to topple Russian state to restore Lenin's legacy ? Too bad ! You are the TOTALIST, just like them fash.

Also have tried the Redux version. Lots of meme focus tree. A lil bit better but still has the horse-shoe theory nonsense. There is a part where if you play as Germany and somehow managed to get the socialist to hold power, you can choose between Ernst Thälmann or Wilhelm Pieck. If you go down the Thälmann's focus tree, his rival's party name will be changed to [Revisionist] and on Pieck's focus tree his rival's party name will be changed to [Liberal]. I find that bit funny.

de-encyclopedia [Medium: Success] - Ah, a fumo. Derived from the otomatopeia of touching something soft, mofumofu. They are particularly famous among fans of Touhou, a Japanese multimedia franchise, for being particularly rare and hard to find. Lucky you! This fumo depicts the character, "Patchouli."

de-inland-empire - Keep her close. Her softness and disaffected stare will ward against the coming darkness.

de-savoir-faire - Wait, did you say rare? I bet we can pawn it for a quick réal. Think of all the cool stuff we could get.

de-shivers - Numbness creeps up from your fingertips, crawling into your spine. Across the bay, young man mourns the loss of the crown jewel of his collection.

de-electrochemistry - Yes. This will do. You know what must be done.

de-rhetoric [Legendary: Failure] - Uh, do we? Maybe its one of these political things. They haven't failed us yet.

  1. Feed the bloodsucking landlords to the meat grinder?

  2. Feed the ungrateful workers to the meat grinder?

  3. Feed the ungrateful workers and foreigners to the meat grinder?

  4. Let the meat grinder starve?

de-electrochemistry - No, you communard. Do you really not remember? Dig deep and recall what it is that must be done.

de-volition - Don't. It will only cause you more pain.

  1. Do I have to?

  2. I don't like the sound of this...

  3. Does this have to do with the ex-something?

  4. [ELECTROCHEMISTRY - GODLY 16]

Dialogue felt like a Marvel movie

0 compelling characters

0 setting

The musical aspect of combat, the whole thing the game is based around, feels worthless

Its like if Pixar and Joss Wheadon were in charge of Devil May Cry

Just started playing Unity of Command 2, and it took me a good couple of hours and half a dozen attempts just to get through the tutorial. It's very punishing with not much room for error - you basically have to have a thorough understanding of how all of the systems work from the very beginning and make multiple very precise moves, because a single mistake can cost you a run.

This is coming fresh off me playing the Operational Art of War 4, in which the tutorial mission involves playing the Korean War as the DPRK. Same story, I tried it multiple times and got completely wrecked every time. There's supposed to be a Chinese intervention to help when you're about to lose, but I guess I was unlucky because I never saw that in any of my attempts.

I don't think this is just a matter of me being terrible at wargames either, because I've played others like Panzer Corps and Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm and found the early missions beatable without much trouble and the difficulty curves comfortable.

Some of the comments be like "We have Hades at home" but honestly most of them seem Sinophobic.

Like, China isn't the only one making rogue-likes by the thousand or whatever they call them; America does that well enough.
