not even done with the video but there's something nostalgic about PC games that came in a cardboard box with a cardboard tray inside that held a jewel case with multiple CDs

I was able to militarize the party somewhat and thaw relations with the KPD. Was hoping to win the lumpen and rural workers/peasants to modest success. Got too stuck in party affairs. I recommend fundraising hard and early.

In all honesty though, as a connoisseur of fixed camera angles, Kuon's camera angles aren't that amazing most of the time. The game's environments are fairly open and empty so the angles are mostly pretty pulled back and utilitarian, more focused on giving you a clear view of each area rather than setting a mood with creative shot composition like your Resident Evils and Silent Hills. The game reminds me of Silent Hill 4 which had a similarly detached camera to go along with its larger, sparser environments.

Despite the kind of simplistic gameplay and repeated puzzles and progression during its two campaigns I'd recommend Kuon if you're into PS2 horror and traditional Japanese ghost stories

I have watched this too many times not to share it, Grayfruit has good remixes

I've played these games so much so I have no illusions that they are mostly insane liberal propaganda but this always stood out as particularly vile

I occasionally look up the like full dialogue trees of conversations on youtube and anything remotely involving Batarians have like 75% just straight up fascist comments (like literally you see slightly modified quotes of actual fascists)

idk just kinda disheartening to see so many ppl just go fully along with it and have basically nobody be like "hey maybe don't"
