“Once I reopen the book on Stardew, I always have a hard time closing it again because I always want to add more things, make it better, make it cooler, make people happy,” Barone said. “It's exciting. Every single thing I'm adding, I'm thinking about how people are going to play this and talk about it and love it. It's gonna be part of their experience. It could make a memory that they might cherish forever. That's a special thing. It's hard for me to not want to do that.”

I remember playing about half of DA: Origins before it began taking over my life so I had to stop. DA2 apparently sucked. This one got a lot of critical praise when it came out and people seemed to like it at the time but I haven't heard a peep about it since then. Worth playing? Did it stand the test of time or get washed out?

Waiting for FF7:Rebirth to release on PC and have never played Crisis Core, should I give it a whirl?

bug-facts

Had heard about it for years and decided to start it up last month to kill time til' the Thousand Year Door remake, and boy am I glad I did. The world, characters and lore are so charming, well-written and designed, the soundtrack is awesome. You can tell it's a real labor of love.

A true spiritual successor to the first 2 Paper Marios, but is still unique enough to stand on it's own.

If you love the aforementioned games, or turn-based story rpgs in general, and want to support the indie developer: it is an absolute STEAL at $25. You definitely get a full game's worth of content.

This creepy fuck popped into my head. I remember renting DOA 2 with a friend of mine for a sleepover at his house. MF'er lived deep in the woods and it was pitch black at night. This scary fuck comes on the screen raving about the world being it's delusion and all of a sudden you're fighting.

Very intense for the boob jiggling horny fighting game.

Works like a charm on my potato and it's even got a nice crt shader built in. I guess I just can't handle retroarch on this laptop, but that's okay! Standalone emulators do the job just fine for me.

I picked up Crash Bandicoot 4 again and I'm amazed by how great the game looks. During cutscenes it literally looks like a 3D cartoon, and it's all* happening in-engine in real time!

*except some cutscenes are low bitrate video files, but they use the same assets as the real-time cutscenes and the animation is just as good in both

I don't really play that many newer cartoony games so this might not be that novel an observation but I can't help but go soypoint-2 at the game

I just think this is a way more impressive use of modern graphics technology than a hyper-realistic Keanu Reeves modeled right down to his nose hairs

The game is only a demo atm but I really liked it. Can someone recommend anything that is inspired by PC98 visual novel aesthetic?

Was messing around with retroarch today on a psone core and I've been getting real bad audio crackling. Neverwinter Nights the enhanced edition sometimes crackles too but not the old windows xp version.

Is it an issue with my laptop's hardware?

edit included a speccy ss

Yahtzee's take on the Stellar Blade discourse seems to be that it's just two camps of monkeys throwing shit at each other, which is pretty inaccurate.

There was only really one camp since no one really protested the existence of a game with a jiggly waifu in it

spoilerYahtzee also argues that in a cyberpunk future most people, including him, would choose to put their brains in anime girl bodies with big butts
