I’m trying to expand my podcast selection, and I’d like to find some tech podcasts that have a more UK centric POV.

I already follow various US/international tech shows, but what with the OSA etc I’d like to hear more local voices too.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Been out today and immediately noticed our local mini roundabouts with red crosses painted on them and nearly every motorway bridge with either a union flag or a flag of St George fixed them. It's like they've just appeared overnight? What's suddenly brought this on?

My Note20 Ultra is getting long in the tooth and i was looking at the s25 Ultra 1TB. I can get a "mint condition" one from CeX for a few hundred less than buying new along with a "5 year guarantee" which is the lifetime i would expect of such a phone.

I'm a little apprehensive about dropping 1.2-1.3k on a phone from what is essentially a high street pawn broker though.

I know from personal experience that a lot of stolen stuff ends up in CeX, if a phone i buy ends up blacklisted after i buy it is it covered by the guarantee?

I've heard it pronounced both "Dave-Iss" and "Davey's". I don't hear the names often but I see them regularly and never know how to pronounce them. The only one I'm sure about is Alan Davies (Dave-Iss) because of QI.

I was recently in England and I was most excited about trying Gregg’s vegan sausage rolls (I’m not classy, but I was very happy with them). Each time I got one, they came in this bag.

Is it just that each size bag highlights one of the baked goods that fits inside it or do they have different bags for every type of item?

It’s not important, but I work at a german bakery chain (so similar work, but very different cultural milieu, if panel shows are to be believed- I get the vibe that Gregg’s is like a bakery crossed with a Waffle House, but I didn't actually witness any shenanigans), and I would be so fucking annoyed if I had to get a specific bag for each item.

American here (yes, yes, boo hiss etc). I admittedly just learned about the online safety act and listened to an American podcaster talk about it like the sky is falling. Is it over there? What's it practically like?

Air rifle/shooting range members, how does one apply if they want to join? Would I need to buy my own guns (air rifles) or do some if not most ranges lend guns to you? I'm interested in joining in the future so obviously I'll be a beginner in this instance.

Spending lots of time fighting nature in my garden, wondered if anyone had a recommendation for a podcast pls as my feed is dry.

I'm thinking of getting solar panels and a battery for our house.

What's your setup like, and is there anything you wish you'd set up differently if you were going to install it again? What supplier are you with?

A company extremely local to us is offering 12x Aiko Energy panels (465 watt), with a Sunsynk 5 kW inverter and a 5.32kWh battery. Octopus Energy are offering a similar set up for a similar price, but they're using 450 watt panels, so with using 12 panels I'd be potentially be losing 180 watts vs what the other company is offering. Is that a significant amount or would it basically not really amount to much additional power?

I got these reusable cloths and they've saved me a packet while being eco friendly. However the reusable sponges I've tried have been shit. Anyone know any good ones?
