Continue the resistance after the protests, this flyer has ideas

No Kings Event Map: https://www.nokings.org/#map

Find one near you, write down the address and time, and head out tomorrow. (You don't have to sign up for anything, all you need is the address).

Recommended that you bring a mask, hat, water and snacks. Safety Goggles or Glasses would also be a good idea if you have them.

Bring a sign or the US Flag if you have one.

For privacy reasons you may want to avoid bringing your phone, or place it inside a faraday bag (a really well sealed tinfoil pouch will work, and put it in airplane mode to avoid draining your battery) until you get home.

If you have a first aid kit, it wouldn't hurt to bring it, just in case.

When it comes to protests I've noticed two issues:

  1. Protests especially in local cities are not being covered at all.

  2. The media focuses almost exclusively on the violent aspect which is just a tiny portion of protest activity and a lot is just opportunities who don't care at all about the protest cause and are taking advantage of the fact that police are distracted to cause destruction and steal from stores.

We have the power to fight back. We can contact the media and first of all for local media use their tip line to say where and when there will be peaceful protests. This will increase the likelihood your local media will cover it which can trickle up to national media.

The second thing is for national media use the feedback option to contact them and demand they accurately cover the protests.

Here are some links to submit feedback to national media:

ABC News: https://support.abc.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360003079511

NBC News: https://www.nbcnews.com/information/nbc-news-info/contact-us-n1232521

CBS News: https://www.cbs.com/showfeedback/

CNN: https://help.cnn.com/us/feedback

For how to write the feedback I'd just say keep it short and speak your mind. Don't worry too much about being perfect, the most important thing is they get lots of feedback from real people.

Here is a sample. Please do NOT copy and paste, it's just a starting point.

I saw your show the other day and I feel that it wasn't representative of what the protests are like. When I was there it was completely peaceful and I've seen lots of videos online on social media showing peaceful protests but your coverage didn't include that, instead it showed video of people who are opportunists who are not involved with protesting causing chaos.

I'm calling on {NEWS STATION REPLACE THIS PART ex: ABC News} to spend a lot more time covering the peaceful protests which represent the vast majority of the protests and show less footage of the violence.

Philly Street Medic Support

Hello,

First a note/disclaimer. To begin with I’m going to be careful to avoid doxing myself, so there is information I will be omitting to that end. If you would like me to confirm any information here further, please dm me and we can discuss. Additionally, any specific persons associated with the information I’m about to share have explicitly allowed me to make this post on their behalf. Again, I am willing to prove or discuss this in dms.

Now for the main post.

This is somewhat short notice in the lead up to the protests this Saturday, June 14th, but The Philly street medics are looking to raise funds for supplies for both Saturday’s event, and future events. Based on estimate from local and national organizers the local medic team will have their work cut out for them. Any support folks can provide would be a huge help. We have attempted to post this on other sites, but we (somewhat understandably) get hit by automod filters.

I am providing the link to the medic orgs website, as well as the direct donation link.

Again, I will do my best to answer any questions, and I do have additional info to provide privately for additional verification.

For the protests Trump is hoping for one of two outcomes:

  1. The protests escalate and he seizes power just like Hitler did: https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2025/06/hitler-public-order/683098/
  2. People roll over, stay silent and comply with the administration out of fear.

If fact I wonder if #1 would be more ideal for Trump because it would be a unifying cause for Republicans who are currently divided and soon face economic uncertainty. Remember that Trump's polling was worst in April during times of greatest economic uncertainty. However let's not give him either of those. Let's humiliate Trump by making all the people he brought in, in hopes of escalating useless and bored. Imagine the pictures of them standing around with nothing to do. It will foil the well used dictator playbook for seizing power.

The reality is a vast, vast majority of the protests are going to be peaceful no matter what. The problem is that the media even the mainstream media will focus on any violence there is so we need we really need to be as perfect as we can so let's do everything we can to ensure that every single protest remains as peaceful as possible and also take charge of the narrative too.

What we need to do is protest peacefully and lawfully, be a little more spread out, stay away from situations that are violent. I'd also recommend staying away from police and military. Use the time to expose Trump's corruption and educate people and bring new people to the movement and maybe even help register people to vote. By building a broad peaceful coalition we can reach even those who are stuck in echo chambers where they will only see what little violence there is and not notice the peaceful protests. The only way to break through is to protest peacefully in your city so they can see that protests are peaceful or get previously neutral people involved in protesting who will talk to their friends who will in-turn talk to their friends and so on eventually reaching those in echo chambers.

I'd recommend bringing American flags, say we love our country, we believe ALL Americans have equal rights and that we support the constitution and upholding American tradition like separation of power, that no one is above the law and that there are no kings in America. The more people who do that the more chances the media will be forced to show this which disrupts the false narrative that we're not patriotic, in fact I feel we're way more patriotic than the people who still worship traitors like the confederates, those who want to destroy our country and those who feel that only Americans who have the right skin color, gender and socioeconomic status deserve rights.

Online and in person we must strongly push back against those who call for violence, balkanization or civil war. These things will be devastating to everyone. I can tell you that I'm a blue dot in a red state, I have lots of friends and family members who are as well. Nearly all of us are too poor and too deeply rooted in our communities to move. This could literally be deadly for us and millions of innocent people who don't support what's going on now and even if not deadly lots of us could one day be subject to a oppressive regime in a spin-off of part of America, that would be horrible. If we make it to the midterms we can win enough elections and make our country better in all 50 states peacefully and legally.

Remember: broad peaceful coalition, bring more and more people over, eventually even some Trump supporters will see the light and we'll resolve this peacefully. I know we can do it!

PS: Hands-off put together a list of articles about de-escalation training here: https://actionnetwork.org/user_files/user_files/000/122/370/original/Hands_Off!__De-escalation_resources_(4).pdf

The YouTube link in the PDF wasn't stripped of tracking so use this link to watch their de-escalation training: https://youtu.be/_Pgmn9QRr48

I also saw an interesting idea of having monitors in high visibility vests and using whistles whenever they see even initial signs of violence, in the original suggestion they advised sitting but I read some persuasive comments that mentioned sitting down could be dangerous, instead I think leaving is the best approach.

The first of a multipart documentary series, InterRebellium 01. The Estallido Social is a story told through the eyes of anarchist and anticolonial participants of the 2019 uprising in the territories occupied by the state of Chile.

The Estallido Social (or Social Explosion) was a popular uprising in the territories occupied by the Chilean state, sparked on October 18th 2019 by a fare hike of 30 pesos. What began with a student-led campaign of transit fare evasions quickly spread into a nationwide uprising that shook society to its very foundations.

This uprising was born out of the long history of revolt in so-called Chile. Unfortunately, as participant Yza reminds us, long histories of revolt are often due to long histories of repression. Repression in these lands goes back before the formation of the Chilean state, to the Spanish invasion and conquest. But the modern era begins with the 1973 coup that installed Augusto Pinochet as dictator. Years of neoliberal reforms produced a disillusioned and disorganized working class. InterRebellium traces the roots of the 2019 uprising to the student movements of the 2000s and feminist movements of the mid 2010s, as well as through Indigenous resistance throughout the history of colonial domination. The movement also took cues and tactics from revolts happening concurrently in Hong Kong and Ecuador.

For months, thousands of people fought pitched street battles with the cops and military, organized networks of support for the front line militants, created horizontally organized neighborhood assemblies, participated in general strikes and conducted acts of arson and sabotage against symbols of power and multinational corporations.

The Estallido was ultimately contained through a combination of brutal state repression, promises of reform and a new constitution, and an aesthetic face-lift on the old symbols of power with the election of the young Gabriel Boric of the new-left. As the riots subsided and many people became willing to work within the channels of state bureaucracy, Boric and the new left were free to build coalition with the same forces that were in power before the Estallido, leaving many of the worst perpetrators of state repression in their same roles. A handful of political prisoners from the Estallido remain behind bars to this day (April 2025)

InterRebellium will cover the global wave of revolts from 2018-2020. The title is from Latin for “between uprisings.” We believe it is important to take this time between waves relate our experiences on a worldwide scale, to study the last one so that we are better prepared for the next one.

We are going to need to pressure local politicians (state and city)

First invalidate all administrative warrants (governors and mayors can do that in their jurisdictions)

Second ban all administrative warrants as illegal under penalty of law (state house/senate and city councils can do that in their jurisdictions)

Third require all immigration court activities can be done remotely (thus eliminating court pick ups and ensuring safety for the due process rights to be defended) (judges themselves can do this but it can also be enforced by the local legislature bodies)

Fourth enforcement of existing firearms laws involving school zones. This will result in numerous arrests of ICE agents; taking them off the streets. (Individual police officers can do this but it also can be enforced by the local legislature bodies bodies)

Fifth enforcement of antiterrorism laws. ICE funny enough violates these with their current tactics. (That is why Swat shows up when you report masked people with guns in an area). The creative application can be used to arrest the bulk of current ICE agents and thus if used in combination with all of the above; just a pair of honest police officers enforcing the existing laws can quickly neutralize ICE in a city. (This one is the least likely but most powerful defanging method)

How to Start a Revolution is a BAFTA Award-winning British documentary film about Nobel Peace Prize nominee and political theorist Gene Sharp, described as the world's foremost scholar on nonviolent revolution. The 2011 film describes Sharp's ideas, and their influence on popular uprisings around the world. Screened in cinemas and television in more than 22 countries it became an underground hit with the Occupy Wall St Movement.

President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump's administration diverted 20,000 anti-drone missiles originally intended for Ukraine to American forces in the Middle East, in an interview with ABC News published on June 8.

Zelensky said Ukraine had counted on the missiles to help counter relentless Russian drone attacks, which include swarms of Iranian-designed Shahed-type drones. On June 1, Russia launched a record 472 drones in a single night.

"We have big problems with Shaheds… we will find all the tools to destroy them," Zelensky said. "We counted on this project — 20,000 missiles. Anti-Shahed missiles. It was not expensive, but it's a special technology."

Zelensky said the plan had been agreed upon with then-U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and was launched under President Joe Biden's administration.

The Wall Street Journal reported on June 4 that the Trump administration had redirected the munitions, which include special fuzes used in advanced rocket systems to intercept drones, toward U.S. forces stationed in the Middle East.

The Pentagon reportedly informed Congress in a classified message that the reallocation of the fuzes for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System was deemed an "urgent issue" by current Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

A Ukrainian military intelligence (HUR) source told the Kyiv Independent on June 4 that Russia is preparing to launch more than 500 long-range drones per night in future attacks, as Moscow rapidly scales up drone production and constructs new launch sites.

The Trump administration has halted the approval of new military aid packages to Ukraine since the start of his second term in January.

Trump has repeatedly expressed skepticism about continued assistance to Kyiv and temporarily suspended military shipments earlier this year, only resuming them after Ukraine agreed to a ceasefire framework during peace talks in Jeddah on March 11.

Hegseth, who ordered the temporary halt, did not attend the most recent Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting on June 4 — the first such absence by a U.S. defense chief since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Ukraine has urgently called on Western partners to expand investments in domestic arms production and deliver more air defense systems, including U.S.-made Patriots, to counter intensifying Russian airstrikes.

Despite growing international appeals and Kyiv's offer of a 30-day ceasefire as the basis for peace talks, Moscow continues to reject the proposal.

Trump, who spoke by phone with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 4, has refused to impose new sanctions on Russia, saying he is focused on pursuing a negotiated ceasefire.

Due to a sleep disorder it's hard for me to participate (I'm not awake during the day) but if I know what's happening when and can try to plan around it I might be able to sometimes

How do you find out what protests are happening? Any guidance for staying in the loop so I can see if there are any I can be a part of?

Anyone know a way to get which churches congress members attend?

Because I found a few pastors who are willing to point out the congress members voting against the teachings of Christ in front of the whole congregation in a good old fashioned public shaming.

To their faces.

For example a MAGA coworker said “Biden had dementia from the beginning of his pregnancy”

And now I am just trolling him with mistakes into miracles images with Trump as the father…

It is good for the soul
