Was killing some Hillies and one other guy was there and I was trying to get a lvl of prayer so I was grabbing the bones that were just disappearing. He told to me to go somewhere else because he was there and that the items SHOULD just be lost. I told him it's an MMO so tough but where was this coming from? Was it anything except just being hateful?

Just wanted to add I've been coming and going for like 20 years (I remember I was convinced to play it because it wan't "2D" anymore. Glad the lay of the land is the same. Rune.......Rune never changes.

Someone in the sailing discord pointed out that the current image for Marlin didn't look much like a Marlin. I don't know much about fishing but as I understand it Marlin and Swordfish are pretty closely related.

The purple color of our current beloved Swordfish is a bit out of place too, but I can understand the desire to make icons more unique, vibrant, and stand out easily at such small scale. I love that about some of our older fish designs!

Anyway, I used the Swordfish as a template to try and come up with my own Marlin design. What do you think?! Pixel art is a hobby of mine so I love taking on fun little challenges like this! I would be absolutely honored to have my designs featured in the game some day, but even if that never happens I love any excuse to get creative and practice my pixel art skills.

I'm including images of Raw, Cooked, and Burnt designs, as well as some references (purple icon is the current OSRS raw Swordfish which I used for inspiration and as a template).

Why does the dragon dagger have different behaviors on players than it does on NPCs? For example, on a player, the special hits twice on the same tick, ignoring the opponents hitpoints.

On an NPC however, the dragon dagger special hits on two separate ticks. I'm assuming this was done to account for regeneration of the NPCs hitpoints

Could the same behavior the special attack has on players be updated to behave the same on an NPC? It would make the special attack so much more satisfying to use on NPCs!

When I was 15 I was playing RuneScape at 5am because it was summer and I stayed up all night, now I’m 29 and playing RuneScape at 5am because that’s when I wake up now. The grind truly NEVER stops.

I originally started the game in 2007, so I missed RuneScape classic by a few years. Recently, I started watching videos and finding out that only 1-3 players had a monopoly on smithing skills and weapons/armor was crazy!

I didn’t know RS went from a crafting to a drops economy basically over night. I’m just curious about all the odds and ends of how the game originally played that’s far different from now.
