They’re literally just a non-leagues version of the all-in-one BIS ring/necklace that the DKS dropped this past league.

Doing partial swaps still feels so solid since you’re now always wearing a very strong BIS piece of gear for that attack style that gives accuracy and damage bonus. Can’t believe they let us have these in main game tbh.

I am very curious to see what the drop rates are next week though. Something tells me that despite the spoons we’ve seen posted, the boots are going to be stupidly stupidly rare (and rightly so for how powerful they are).

the reason this game means so damn much to me, is because its one of the first games ive ever played and got hooked on, and i was introduced to it by my best friend who passed away unexpectedly 3 years ago.

he moved into my small town when we were 5, we immediately became best friends, at around age 10 (about 2008) we started playing runescape together, he moved to a different country for 3 years at that time and it was way before we had cellphones so we communicated mainly through runescape lol, then he came back and we just played this game so much. over the years i stopped playing but he barely stopped, it was his all time fav.

he kept trying to get me to play again over the years, but only every now and then i would join him back for some OSRS action, we were doing lan parties at his house, playing all weekend. it was so much fun and i have so many good memories of our time together, but it wasnt really my main game, im an avid FPS player with well over 10,000 hours on the counter strike franchise..

3 years ago he passed away, gone, out of nowhere. ill never get over that, but now playing this game again, got me mad nostalgic and emotional, and its actually become my fav game again. the sheer amount of content is insane and fascinating. i never got a lvl 99 skill, in anything, never reached lvl 90+, i only now acquired my first million GP lol.

but im very motivated right now to get those achievements and many others. im no believer in god, but part of me wishes hes up there watching me play and proud. honestly i wish we could play just a little bit more together, every little thing that gets me excited about this game i just wanna message him about it, but honestly i got nobody to be excited with about this game, it saddens me.

if you read all of this silly block, a humble thank you, i feel kinda better after letting all of this out, this dude really meant a lot to me

With all this recent OSRS vs WoW discussion I’m just so grateful that OSRS isn’t fueled by FOMO. I used to play WoW, check out the reddit sometimes and will occasionally resub, but everything I do always feels fleeting. It’s carrot and stick: the game.

I’ve taken a months to year breaks on OSRS and every time I pick up right back where I left off, usually with MORE VARIETY and CONTENT then the last time I left.

I know this is beating a dead tapir, but I just appreciate this respect of my time so much.

• Don't use a Purging Staff. You can autocast Demonbane spells with a Skull Sceptre. The Skull Sceptre has no real value so it's free to reclaim.
• Use a Darklight instead of an Emberlight. Darklight has no real value so it's free to reclaim.
• Use a cheap melee punish weapon like a Crystal Halberd. Gives extra range + has high melee strength so you still punish Mokha
• Use an ornament kit where you can. If using a Necklace of Anguish get the ornament version. Since it's untradeable you'll automatically keep it.
• Use protect item. Seriously, it helps.
• Use void.

Doing all of the above my death cost went from 500k/death to 11k/death and it functionally didn't change anything in the fight. I still use the best gear available to me and do the same dps to the boss.
