Click Boxes.

Every new boss that is released seems to follow the same formula of janky click boxes on a target that has insane animations.

Bosses should be standardized to have a stagnate click box around its hull that is not drastically changed by its animations. The delve boss is the latest victim of this issue with high APM required and one yellow click causing instant death at the wrong time.

Please, standardize a practice of making click boxes a stagnate area around a boss to avoid this same frustrating mistake with every new PVM encounter.

I woke up to inbox messages today from Jagex saying they were on the case regarding the duping and item loss rollback issue from last week - and my issue in particular had been resolved!

My friend u/B_I_R_T and I had hope they had been working on this since the incident after a brief note from Ash on discord, so it looks like as of today those of us that experienced losses can possibly expect some good news in near future - and those of you who duped may expect the contrary.

Thank you Jagex for the great communication and quick action on this matter - sincerely, customer support is really turning around!

And yes, lastly, before anyone asks, I returned it as soon as it was back in my possession.

Weird title but I'll explain.

Jagex has noted that they want bosses to be less pattern based and more reactive. That's fine and interesting, but randomness needs some control.

I will only discuss wave 8+ because other waves are pretty simple.

The variance of the fight scales with randomness, melee grubs, boulder special attack spam, melee punish during boulder spam. Melee grubs walking on poison. Etc

Bosses with randomness need to have some design to respect its own attacks. Grubs explode if you stand next to them, but you can avoid it if you kill them next to the boss. Since boulders can be sent during melee grubs, you can't kill them and reasonably step away from explosion damage or time it with popping it on the boss. Maybe if you attack a melee grub, make the boss unable to melee attack you. Or just don't send grubs during boulders. Or simply don't use melee grubs.

Similarly it seems to use the boulder attack as a regular attack on these waves, regularly spamming the attack throughout the fight as if it's a normal attack. No cooldown at all.

I was today years old when I realised you are given everything you receive on tutorial island when you leave, EXCEPT for the hammer you use to smith your first bronze bar.

Edit: The current GE price of a hammer is 48gp. The estimated total player (character) count, after a quick google, is 66,340,960. That means Jamflex has single handedly scammed 3,184,366,080gp! Must be nice living in their fully decorated POH's with their megarares smh.

As a human citizen of Varlamore I truly feel that Queen Zyanyi Arkan is a fool and made huge mistake opening up our Shining Kingdom! Things have never been this bad, we truly need to get these people out of here..

Whoever designed the fletching activity has done a fantastic job. The xp rates are great, the activity requires enough focus and effort that it’s not exhausting, but also not extremely boring and mundane. The location is beautiful, Auburnvale looks great, and whoever measured the timing between each totem has done wonderfully because there’s very little downtime

Just wanted to talk up this minigame because in the light of Doom and the positives and negatives stemming from that, there’s other additions to Varlamore pt 3 that really hit the nail on the head, especially after the issues that arose with Mixology

Vale Totems have turned fletching into an activity that’s not ridiculously boring and mundane, and doesn’t require bankstanding anymore. The design is really well done and putting it in an area that has such wonderful scenery is the icing on the cake
